arvaster I always found Kaspersky to be the best one. It cost a couple of bucks though. But just like in America, you have to pay for health care - but for your computer :P

arvaster I use ad-blocking software on most site. Because it is annoying. Some will popup, some will popunder. Very, very annoying. Sites I like & respect I usually turn it on to give the site revenue :) But in general I keep it on.

arvaster Viruses are as commonly found on discs as in USB devices. Although things can't transfer to an already closed disc. I guess it's "safer". Anyway. I prefer DVDs over USB sticks.

arvaster WMP is the worst player of them all. Also, if you have to change the EQ etc for audio to make it sound good; you can't have good speakers ;) If an artist makes a CD with a certain sound on it, why do you have to change it?

arvaster As far as I know there is no danger since they were raging about this subject maybe five years ago. About tumors and brain cancer and then got proven wrong. Just another scare tactic I say 8)
