A friend of mine posted this in Facebook, and I decided to post it here too. Cellphones actually have different levels of radiation emmission, some have little, some have a lot. It has come to my attention since everyone in our house is fond of using cellphones as it is very handy. The article my friend posted was all about how to lower your exposure to cellphone radiation.
Here's the link to the article: www.ewg.org/cellphoneradiation/newsrelease
Their researchers have developed a free online tool where you can check out your phone's SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) and here's the link:
www.ewg.org/cellphoneradiation/Get-a-Safer-Phone
I suggest you read the press release first so that you can understand what SAR is better :)

I really don't have any idea if this is real or not.. But it's somewhat good to know though, cause there are studies that it may be possible, if used the wrong way.. At least, somewhat like a warning sign for those who sleep by their phones :D

Well it IS true that mobile devices radiate radiation. BUT it's not nearly enough to be dangerous. It's more dangerous to talk while driving since it impairs your reflexes. But also I think it might be an environmental question when it comes to the radiation and not really a health question ^^ Interesting subject though!

Yup! Driving while talking on the phone is really dangerous. And so is texting! Your attention's divided between focusing on the road and the one you're talking/replying to. I think they did an episode of this in Myth Busters at Discovery Channel. It was really cool! I don't know if you've seen it, but they had a really funny experiment that showed how dangerous driving can be when you're also talking on the phone :D

I have watch on Television and there hasn't been any department in the U.S. approved the research of having some kind of radiation on mobile phones. well, that's not my problem no more since my mobile phone got whacked and the only thing working is the battery, and it had to be motorola razor

This was just recently posted though. At least it's good to know that there are people who are passionate about looking into the hazards of using the latest gadgets out in the market. Too, bad about your phone.

I saw that website. It`s so interesting .i didn`t knew that . Thanks a lot . I saw my cellphone too . It haves 0,60 . I don`t know if it`s too much , but i saw that it`s below the middle of that list . the worsed cellphone had 1,60 that radiation . So, mine it`s a little good .. It should be a law that should make the manufactures to add a sibol and a number with the radiation on the cellphone .
