Windows Vs Linux

hi! I have worked with linux only once in my lifetime, so that I can tell you which one is better, but as I know, there are also many programs for linux, but the + is that there are not so many computer viruses for it, so maybe it will be the better option for people who spend a lot of time on internet and have some privacy info :

Actually, another reason why linux is more protected from viruses is because it's less popular than windows, that's why less people want to develop virus against linux. The key problem with linux is its compatibility of programs with windows. A lot of people are using windows OS, so if there is a need to transfer files or information from linux to windows, there may be some problems.

I think this can be the great question about pc os!!So in reality linux is safer than windows because normally the majority of viruses ,malaware,spy and so on are written specifically for windows os in this way have a great chance to hit a great number of computer but also linux os have a strong firewall as regards the net which it control all traffic in upload or download and so is safe from this point of view!! Surely it depends on purposes for some things windows can be better considering you don't do anything ...in the linux os in many cases you must configure or adopt it to your needs!As regards softwares are equal and as regard speed is better linux in fact windows normally is low!!

It all comes down to what you are going to do with your computer. Linux is good all-round. But I Windows is superior in office technology. Mac is superior in audio, video and photo editing due to it's crazy stability. I believe Windows is GREAT if you know how to protect yourself. Unfortunately enough people don't care or think that THEY too can get damaged on-line. I run all three systems at home for various purposes. I'd say Windows is better though. Yes there are viruses, but for my purposes it has way better support and stability than both Linux and mac. If more companies decided to develop around the Linux kernel that would be great. But try to convince industries to make things for free, haha :P
