I also recommend ESET Nod32. Many of the computer technicians that I encountered always recommended me Nod32 because it's low on resources, it does not require much attention, everything is set-up, and it doesn't need a restart after a update.

I have eset Nod32. Works the best for me. I have tried Kaspersky, McAffee and Norton. I found these to be comparitively slowing down my system. Nod32 is pretty good and keeps the viruses at bay. My second choice would be Kaspersky. It is quite efficient too.

Norton Antivirus is one of the best I think but a pity that it's not free. So among the free versions of antivirus, I also think Avira is the best. I'm also using it right now.

I always found Kaspersky to be the best one. It cost a couple of bucks though. But just like in America, you have to pay for health care - but for your computer :P

I had used Avast for awhile, but when I bought my new laptop, I decided to put a different antivirus on it. I am now using Microsft Security Essentials, and I really like it as it does a very good job. II didn't know anthing about it before I installed it, so I went over the turtorial to get the idea on how it owrks. I then decided to install it, and I am glad that I did. I am not saying it is the best, but it works the best for me. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Try NOD23. It is very good and does not slowdown your computer.
