What is your favorite souvenir when you travel to places ?

I only travel here in my own country and i look for cute keychains to give as souvenirs to friends and relatives. Or if i can't find cute ones i look for cute bracelets.

I collect music from around the world, so when I vist another country I always try to find the names of some of the famous bands or singers, and then I buy some cds. In the old days I bought cassette tapes, but now I always buy cds instead. I once bought some Russian techno by mistake (in Estonia) and I didn't like that very much, but aside from that I have been very satisfied with the music that I have bought. I usually try to find some pop or rock music in the local language. Sometimes I receive cds from my friends from other countries, so my collection consists of presents as well as cds that I have bought in other countries.

Hi my friend Greenline. I love to collect costume dolls from around the world. Over the years of my traveling I have built up a lovely collection of dolls from many different countries. On my latest trip I had difficulty finding a doll of the right sort of size in South Africa. I got a lovely doll made out of wood in Romania. I got some wonderful hand made dolls in Kenya. I have a small collection of fridge magnets from different places.

I love to buy small, non-breakable items that are representative of the places I visit, like keychains, keyholders, purses, anything - things that don't take up much space in my luggage.

hi greenline :) well ya I really like the souvenirs ,,,it reminds you of the place that you have visited ,,I always take at least 4 things in my travels,and you just like me the best thing is the key chains ,so I have now alot of them ,even if my brother or sister who traveled I usually ask for key chains lol,,,happy my lotting

Hey greenline! I love keychains too! I like it when my friends go somewhere and bring them back to me as gifts! Even though I haven't been there is still nice to have! I haven't travelled to too many places. I have some nice sovenirs that I have brought back from Florida each time that I go to visit my Mom. I like to collect things with Flamincos and Palm Trees. I have one favorite souvenir that I got when I was in Canada. It is a copper etching of a log cabin. It has been on my wall since I got it. I think that will always be one of my very favorites always!

I don't have any particular thing that I buy. I just pick up different things. What ever stikes my fancy.

I guess it would probably be postcards. They are inexpensive and pretty much anywhere you go, even gas stations.

Hello there! I go for the "wearables" -- shirts, caps, accessories and stuffs like these. They're unique and not so expensive..well, it depends on the place though.

I like going to the ocean and so I love to bring back shells. I have a particular one with holes in it I found in Cuba that I sometimes wear on a chain.

I love to buy hoodies/sweatshirts from places I visit. Sometimes they can be a little costly but they are a practical souvenior. I buy oversized ones too so I can easily where them over many layers of clothes if I go somewhere very cold for fun. It is also a good way to broadcast where you have been, and conversation starters. One hoodie I have says Paris on it and when people see it we will get into a conversation about it, its a lot of fun. I probably have over 15 hoodies from various places and still wear every single one of them.
