Accept people for themselves

For the most part. People shouldn't overly worry about other people. If you don't like what's on... turn the channel. If you don't like the blog, don't read it. Same goes for people. You aren't forced to hang out (usually) with certain people. You have to deal with people but you don't have to like everyone. You don't need to know what's going on in other peoples bedrooms (as long as it's two consenting adults) You don't need to worry about anyone else's souls. Accept them with respect and move on. BUT (you knew one was coming) there are some things we don't have to accept. People shouldn't abuse, neglect or harm others. We shouldn't accept that. Mothers and fathers harming their kids.... not acceptable. People killing in God's name isn't acceptable. (in my view)

I agree tmany of our problms stem from intolerance .I wouldnt say that I accept all views but I believe that you have the right to have your views and I mine and I wont persecute you for yours and hope you can extedn the same courtesy to me

Truly it would be so much better for sure if people could learn to accept others for themselves. Just because someone might be a different color than you, or different Religion, might have less money, maybe is homeless, or has a physical or mental disability if we could just learn to accept others for themselves the World would truly be a better place. The Bible teaches us to treat everyone with respect no matter who they are, and if more people would follow this there would be a lot less problems as well. Because over all there is always going to be Bad and Good in this world and if we all learned to quit stereotyping people it would help change things for sure.

you are right,each and everyone is entitled to their opinions ,i am no god to change others,it is better for me to accept others as they are,otherwise i am bound to be a loner.

The world would be a better place to live if people were considerate enough of other people's well being. If someone for example were not brought up properly and this person does a lot of hurtful things to other people "just because that's the way he is", wouldn't it be right that his friends intervene and talk to him about it? Wouldn't it be right for him to "become better"? Just for the sake of improving social harmony? Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

Well I would like to think that many of the disturbances that now exist in the world and occured in the past would never have happened.For example world war2 resulted inpart because Hitler refused to accept the jews as they are and slavery and appartheid and discrimination all resulted from non acceptance of other .Even current disturbance in the middle east could have been minimised if both groups were more accepting

I agree, we have become so intolerant of our differences. If we would just accept and respect everyone for who they are individually life would be much sweeter.

We all should accept people for who they are. Why should we care what people think of us? Im going to be what i want and who i want to be cuz thats the way i was made that all that god expects us to be is ourselves.
