I caught a cold once sitting by the river in the freezing cold waiting for a fish to bite.

Hey sconi! Ahhhhh! That poor little guy! How sweet of that nice man to save him! It's a good thing that they saw him from their boat! I think that was a really wonderful thing to do! I hope that they know that they did a really good deed saving that deer! I know that poor animal really did appreciate being saved! God Bless them! I love happy endings!

yeah, that was too cool NOT to share. the poor little guy was a mile and a half from shore and probably exhausted, even if he could of figured out how to get back to shore, i doubt he would have made it. good thing those fishermen showed up.

i don't know if the deer was glad, but i'm sure he was relieved and exhausted after swimming a mile and a half. i hope you catch the matching shoe some day.

Crazy story, I don't think he actually hooked him though. I have caught snails, clams, a snapping turtle, and the worst one my buddy hooked was an otter. That thing was crazy and we didn't know what to do. We didn't want to just cut the line because we wanted to make sure we got the hook out but we also didn't want to hurt it by dragging it in because it was really fighting.

yeah, i don't think they actually hooked it either. i'm sure the deer was just grateful to be in the boat after swimming for so long. i sure hope the otter ended up OK.
