I am lucky that I do have a Valentine....my husband. We got on Valentine's Day in 2002. This year will be our 7th anniversary. So I get to celebrate two special days wrapped into one! Sorry that you brokeup with your girlfriend. Hopefully you will find someone to spend that day with. I hope you do!

Be honest, and be straightfoward. Most of all be nice. Wear stylish clothes (if your mother picks it out, it's not stylish). And last but not least make sure you smell good. Be yourself!

I do have a Valentine. All I really ask for Valentine's day is to spend time with him, but he's the romantic type of guy. So, I have a feeling that he'll try to plan something for me every Valentine's Day that we're together. It happens that I know that his best friend and him are planning something for his best friend's wife and myself, since we're all good friends. What are they planning? I don't know, but I know they're planning something.

As for me, I don't have any plans this coming Valentine's day.. My boyfriend is not coming here in my place so I think I don't have any date since my friends were also far from me.. Maybe, I will just stay at home and rest since this coming Valentine is on Saturday and I don't have a work..I don't have someone to spend my Valentine's day..
Well, maybe you can invite your friends to go for outing or have a group dinner..You can celebrate Valetine's day even though you don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend since you have friends to spend this kind of celebration.. I think its more happier than spending all by your self.

This Valentine's Day I'm going to a party. Actually it is customary to go out to eat a big meal and live it up, do something special with someone you love on this day. I'm sending Valentine cards out to family and buying flowers for the house. Even one Red Rose in a vase livens up a room don't you think? HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY MYLOTTERS!

I would say do not give up hope. I met my husband 6 days before valentines day. We have now been married for almost 10 years. Love can happen at any time. We are going to have a nice dinner out I think to celebrate valentines. But there is nothing wrong with being alone on valentines until you meet that someone special. Good luck.

Well, this would be my second valentines that I am gonna celebrate along with the one I love. Last year, we just go out and spent our times in the movie house. As for this year, we don't have any plans yet. But most probably, we will celebrate it together not maybe in person (since I'm quite busy with my studies) but we will. :)
Regarding your problem, impressing a girl just for the sake of having someone in time with the valentines day, IMO its quite unethical. :|

Be your own valentine and treat yourself to a cd or some clothes or anything you wish - you can afford to spend the money you would have spent on her on yourself instead!
Valentines day is a load of rubbish if you ask me - it is set up for businesses to make money and has nothing to do with true love at all.
You can easily make an impression on someone in a week but it doesnt sound like you are ready to move on sweetie.
Treat yourself and forget about valentines this year - spend your money on something else!

I've had the same valentine for 21 yrs:)
We are going to my sons wrestling tournament Valentines weekend. I guess that if he doesn't wrestle late on Friday night we will go out for dinner, or if he is out of the tournament early on Saturday maybe we will go out then. The best valentines day would be if my son came in first place in his tournament!

I'm not really making any plans for this Valentine's Day, nor am I expecting anything. I do and don't have a valentine, lol. My s/o decided a few weeks ago he wanted to move on, alone. However, we are still living together in the same house for now, until I can get everything taken care of and move. So Valentine's Day will just be another day to me this year.

I do have a Valentine, but he is a few thousand miles away in the Swedish navy, so we can not really do anything sadly, but what does it matter, it is just another day, and we will love each other as much any other day. I would not do too much to get your ex-girlfriend back, she may just not be interested in you anymore, but if you insist on it maybe you can send her some flowers, it seems like a reasonable thing to do for her. Good luck and have a great day.

i do have a valentine for this year. but i don't believe there is a way to impress a girl with in a week. do you have friends that are girls? valentines day can be shared with someone who you really care about not just someone that you have to be in love with. it's a day about showing people you care. so, if my suggestion to you, is if you have and friends that are girls take one of them out and have a good time with them. i know people make valentines day all about romance and candies but really it's about compassion and showing that person how much you care. go out to the movies and to dinner. that would be nice if i didn't have a mate for this valentines day and i went out with just a friend. it would show i meant something to them and that shows/tells a lot about someone. hope this helps.

Well. I have one but she is very very far away from me, so I don't expect anything extra special going for happened for me. Normally I never think valentine as a special day for love. My whole 365 days are valentine days. Lolz !!!
So, I will be missing her and thats pretty much it. Nothing special though !!!
