Ellie, see my reply (#8). If you want to, make the day special for yourself because you deserve some pampering. Nobody will do it for you! Enjoy your day if you want to celebrate it, you deserve special consideration!
This is a strictly commercially-invented day so that profit can be made, so it's not really so special if you don't want to celebrate it. And don't feel badly that you don't have anyone this year because romance is greatly overrated and romanticized.
I hope you have a wonderful day, everyday!

Hi ellie333,
Oh boy! A secret admirer? Let's see....I want mine to be tall, dark and handsome! I'll settle for a little short, dark and handsome! lol...I hope you get your surprise, but if you don't...surprise someone else. Leave a stash of chocolate for yourself too! Happy Valentine's Day!

my husband is my Valentine. I bought him a gold chain 24 inches long for him to wear with his pendant. I had a pendant made for him for fathers day one year and he broke the chain that I bought to go with it.

Yes, it got broke at work and it's not the first time either. This is his 3rd or 4th one, lol. I got him a thicker one each time. I don't think he will be able to break this new one so easily, it is so thick...lol.
He hasn't got me anything yet. But he is not working and hasn't been since December...he is worried about things. We have time I don't know what he will do. Probably take me to my favorite restuarant.

Hi moondancer,
What a lovely, shiny gift! Bling, bling! lol...he is one lucky man! I am assuming the chain was broken by accident and could not be repaired. What did he get you? Thanks for your response and Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi satyakam,
Hey you know what? You don't have to have a Valentine to celebrate this day. Take yourself out for ice cream and marvel in the fact that you're single and can mingle! You just haven't found the one you want yet. Celebrate anyway! Thanks for your response and Happy Valentine's Day.

Hi qianlizhifeng,
Romantic films? (blush)You can't let the girl get away with just a kiss for Valentine's Day! This is the time to show your true feelings! Thanks for your response and Happy Valentine's Day!

I have no one, but that is by choice. I will be sending cards to my two sons and a couple that are my dear, dear friends--they are all in another state far away but we talk often. I will bake Gus and Cookie (my dogs) a special doggie treat and make myself a nice dinner of pineapple and coconut chicken with shrimp.

Hi dragon54u,
Ahhh to be single can reap such great added benefits in life. I can't help but feel more passionately about my kitties lol. I'm sure they'll get a party platter of tuna that day! I'm almost certainly positive I will have my secret chocolate stash gobbled up in a heart beat! Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi inuceres,
Tis ok if you have boys for friends but no boyfriend. That means there is someone extra special who you have not found yet! Thanks for your response and Happy Valentine's Day.

That is so easy to answer, of course, it will be my son! But he will be out of the country for Valentine's Day...he will be in Brazil...so we will have to celebrate when he comes home! His favourite thing is to be home...and have a wonderful fondue, so that's the plans when he gets back! Cheers!

Hi pergammano,
Now, that's an interesting answer! Wow, he's in Brazil? I've always wanted to see Brazil, except for those anacondas! I could do without those! Fondue you say? (wiggles whiskers)....groovy! Happy Valentine's Day!

Wow! Thank you for the belated Valentine's Day gift....a "best response"...what a treat! And he is still in Brazil, now moved from Rhedonde, 1/2 way between Rio & Sao Paulo...to just outside of Sao Paulo, to a smaller town, but he will be commuting to Sao, daily, to the Cummins Diesel Plant! Weather has not been great, in one 17 hour period, 1 metre of rain! Truly, thanks again, and will be thinking of you as we fondue!

I won't ask anyone because I can't feel anything for anyone right now. Im confused if I like my crush the same way I did 3 years ago when I first saw her.

I do not have a valentine this year, at least I do not have to buy anybody anything, but here is to hoping that by next year I can have my valentine.
