Not every day but, if i've got a number of things to deal with that I need to remember I'll make a list of what i have to do over a week or so & put stars against the most urgent. I have been known to include things i've already done to make myself feel as though I am actually getting somewhere

I like the idea of to do list but not all the time. I do that when i have some important work's to be done and i am delaying them since long back then i will make a note and i will start doing them. so that i will not delay them for the next day i also keep reminders in my mobile so that i will forget.

I never do one for my personal stuff, but at work I need to do it. There's so much stuff flying through my head with phone calls to make and emails to sen that I have to write stuff down. Ive started filling in a diary of what I need to do each day and anything that doesn't get done gets moved over to the next day.

I rarely make to do lists. I prefer to keep an idea of what needs to get done in my head. This makes it easier for me since I don't take time to write down what needs to be done, but rather just get to work. It is also easier when everything doesn't get done!

Yes, I use "to do" lists, but I have some advice. To do lists should only contain items that are BEYOND the usual, expected activities that you are going to do anyway. Also, I limit my "to do" list to three activities in priority order, which seems to keep me on track. If I don't finish these three items in one day, I "roll over" the unfinished activities to the next day, but keep my list to three. Finally, I set a time limit on how long I will keep an item on the list. If I don't do it within the number of days I project, I re-evaluate whether I really want the item on my list. One more thing: delegate. How many activities could really be done as well be somebody else, if you just ask? Good luck and stay motivated!

Not every day. But when I miss some works, i make to-do list on PC and mobile. They help me to do work complete as early as possible. So please do not stop making them.

i do a to-do list, but I try to minimize the number of items on the list - no more than 3. So long as I get those 3 items done, I can then do other things or just consider myself done. This way i don't get overwhelmed - sometimes if I get overwhelmed, I can't figure out what to do next and then nothing gets done.

yes, productive people makes a to do list everyday and sees to it that goal is achieved. maybe the problem is you tend to do other things than the one on your list? or you must have put in a lot of things to do in a day! you have to budget your time, spread the chores you can do in a week rather than in a day. then make a time table for every task. it is like budgeting your money for the whole month. do it again and see how it makes your life more productive and organized. just be realistic. there are things that can be done for another day

I don't make a to-do list every day but I do have a list every once in awhile of things that I do need to get done and the time in which they are do. I have it written on a white board above my head at the moment so I can look up and see when each and every thing is due.
Now, on days in which I have a lot of things coming up and that it would be helpful to have a to-do list so I can know how much I need to do within a short period of time, let's say two or three days, then I'll write one up. It does help keep me on track.

I do these lists - not on a daily basis - but very often. It really helps me in doing things around the house. If I don't have one I tend to stay in front of the computer all day instead of doing things I should be doing.
In December I have a book with stuff to do every day - like preparing food for Christmas and mailing Christmaspresents and cards and so on. Otherwise I don't know if I would remember to do so!

No, i don't make to do list.. i just go with the flow.. i know what to prioritize first and that's all that matters to me.. monitoring my blood sugar is my top priority right now.. my doctor advised me to check my glucose every now and then inject insulin before breakfast and dinner.. i will be having a second blood test on friday just to make sure that i'm type 2 diabetic.. type 2 diabetics don't depend on insulin so i'm hoping and praying that my 2nd blood test would be the same as the first one..

I have done lists myself many times. Like you I am not sure if they really work or not since you have to make sure to take the time to get everything done, but they can work if you make sure to stick to them. The problem becomes when something you have planned on that list ends up taking longer than you had planned or an unforseen emergency arises to end up throwing a wrench into the situation as well. But if you are list person they can really help you out for sure.

When I was working, I used to maintain a "To Do" list because usually there were many tasks to perform and manage, and some were urgent. Such lists are useful aids to make us more organized, and also it helps us prioritize our work. Now that I am mostly at home, I hardly keep such lists because the things I have to do everyday are very manageable. I also post reminder slips on my cork board so that I don't forget important items. The only time I really have to write out a "To Do" list is few days before a major holiday trip. That's because when I am pressed for time, I tend to overlook what I have to complete before I fly off. They are usually simple things like change money, pay bills, print out itinerary, clear emails, suspend newspaper subscription and clear camera memory. Such lists have proved very useful for me.

I make list of to do items which are utmost important, both for me and my husband. Otherwise there is no use of making one as the list is endless and as you said, it'll go on and on and one day it'll go waste.

No I do not make a to do list every day. When I am overloaded with the work then I make a to do list so that I can now what all work is to be done and with what priority. I then use it to finish all my work and the process keeos on repeating.
