Have you ever catched a butterfly?

Yes but I was always gentle and never killed them unless by accident...I used to watch the cats try to catch them.Its very cute until they actually catch one..Then its sad!!

Yes, I do catch several butterflies when I was still a child growing up in the province. My favorite past time then was "chasing butterflies in our backyard". I love butterflies and it feels good having them in my palms. So far, no butterflies ever crushed in my hands, I picked up and catch them slowly and gently.

I have never caught a butterfly. I guess the closest I've ever come to actually catching one was having one land on my hand when I was younger. I got it to land on me, but I was afraid to try actually catching it, cause they seem so fragile that I have always been afraid that I would end up ripping its wing or something!

when i was little child i was trying but i realised it wasnt possible till i saw a beautiful butterfly flying around me and it standed on my hand. damn it was nice feeling for a kid :)

Butterflies are so beautiful. I like to watch them float and flutter. I never tried to catch one because of being afraid I would hurt it.

I tried alot to catch a butterfly in my childhood. I was brave enough to try catch one but it was only until i touch the butterfly. When i use to touch it once i use to feel so weird and sometimes scared that it might hurt me. They are so beautiful and colorful.

I have caught one of those beautiful Monarch butterflies when I was little. I wanted to keep it but I let it go. I also caught small little yellow butterflies and I think I may have kept one in a jar for awhile.
