Well, the story is the she got this worm, in her brain, that can be gotten from certain germs and not washing hands. It was growing in her brain and she thought she had a tumor. The showed the worm. They were relieved it was not a tumor but it could have killed her.

I think I'd almost rather have a tumor than a worm gnawing on my brain...

That's probably why my hands are very dry, because I wash them many times a day. I'm constantly washing them after touching things especially with food, the toilet, rubbish, daily cleaning and whatever else LOL

haha I know what you mean ... why is it hard for some men to wash their hands ESPECIALLY after using the toilet? aargh I don't know what it is but I get paranoid when he doesn't wash his hands and then touches things around the house LOL

I wash my hands constantly because I go up and down stairs in my apartment. Thus I touch the hand railing. Also, I have a dog. So my hands are pretty much washed all the time. Because of this and my ability to get paranoid, I will not be reading the article you posted a link to. I'm too scared!

I always wash my hands whatever after doing anything. I thikn it's my habit to do that, because if I don't wash my hands after doing something, I feel very uncomfortable.

Me, too. Plus, I keep hand sanitizer around in different rooms, in my car and in my purse. You never know if you do not have soap and water available and cannot wash your hands when needed. Also, I keep moist wipes in my purse. I like clean hands.

That's a good question. Do I? You know what, I don't used to be very careful until my nieces were born. Its only after that I realised how important is it to take care while washing. There are more to it instead of just washing our hands with soap! And we must set up examples before the kids as well. They are most prone to diseases. Janet, couldn't open the link, I wish I could! And sharing here one link that you might find interesting. Great discussion, BTW!! http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/765513/abcs_of_hand_washing.html?cat=10

Tonight my parents took me to The Olive Garden. The waiter had horrible B.O. I shudder to think about the hygeine with the rest of the employees.

And that is why I eat home 99% of the time. Well, if you food is well-cooked, it should be okay, unless they touched it AFTER it was cooked.

I am not obsessive but I am very cautious and when I think they need a cleaning, I will wash them, which is several times per day.

I always wash my hands. I probably wash them hundred times a day. I try my best to not get sick or pass germs. I guess I am starting to become a germaphobe but I guess its a good thing.
