Help!!! I don't know what's going on with my computer. Well, I don't know if it's my computer or my keyboard. I have tried 2 different keyboards in the past week, and neither of them want to work. They pick up about every 5th letter or so. You can imagine how long it takes me to type anything. Has this ever happened to you? My computer is brand new...it's a Dell. So the keyboard is new. The second one is from my daugher's computer. It's not new, but it's only about a year old. Can you tell me how to fix this?

If your new keyboard is acting strangely and your Dell computer is still new, you should call up Dell's helpdesk as soon as possible and they might change it for you. It does seem to me that the USB port is faulty. The keyboard should be fine since both of them are not working fine. Try calling them up since it's most probably a hardware failure.
