Mylot is getting Boring

Hi Cupid Nice to see your discussion after a very long time. Yes indeed mylot is getting boring because you are not so active here any more..Why dont you start some nice and spicy discussions and then this site will become a lot more interesting!

Instead of lamenting that My lot is becoming boring and drab, i feel some body should take the lead to make it lively. Let that "Some body" ' be you

I think your observation has some merit. I do believe many people have slowed down on caring about posting good discussions. They have seemed to dwindle down to mindless answer posts. I keep trying to post discussions that are interesting, or at the very least need answering, but it seems as if the current users dont care to answer posts that need "real" answers.

hi cupid dear, here I really agree with you. I will not say that interesting discussions are not available, but it is just that we are getting bored. I think it is obvious, it is human nature to get bored from same to same monotonous activity.May be we should take a break and find some other more interesting activity, but I wonder WHAT? To me nothing seems to be interesting now a days.......may be your guru and my friend Rose will have some suggestions....lol

Hi Cupid, You are getting bored? I am sorry to hear about the same. Take a break and come back after some time then your mind will refreshed and mylot will be interesting. I can't agree you on this statement. May be I don't have enough time to spend with mylot and this is one of the possible reason for my interest in mylot. In office I am eagerly waiting for a break so that I can spend time with mylot (lol).

Hi Cupid......well I think your boredom has enlightened you and opened your eyes...the best way to get over boredom in mylot seems to be to start some good discussions and to have all your nice friends dropping in and passing on their comments........ha..ha... I think it gets boring in here from time to time, but then suddenly it perks up again. I've been away for a while building my website but I think that a few people have gone from here for one, and others take a little time out at the end of the month once they're satisfied they've reached payout. It can get a bit repetitive in here from time to time, I guess, but there's usually the odd few either interesting, or amusing discussions to be found. Stick with it, my friend! Brightest Blessings.

I think something serious has happened...............LOL! because two of your other friends also told me the same thing that mylot is getting bore. How can it be..........I fail to understand..........when members like you are there to 'recharge' mylot...........how can it be boring........There is no dearth of interesting discussios...........only thing is we need to search for those........!! Please check some of my latest discussions, hope it may allow you to get rid of your boredom.

Awww I hope my discussions aren't too boring for you LOL I've only recently returned to mylot and find many discussions, some not all that interesting but I still reply to them if they are on my friends list. Maybe you need a break or start some of your own like - What's something interesting happening in your life right now? or Did you hear a funny story, tell us about it, or what's happening in the news in your town or something like that. I'll answer it LOL

Boring? When?? I can't keep up with all the discussions and responses that I would like to respond to! I started one yesterday which I don't do often and if I stop responding to other discussions to comment on the responses on my own I get behind again. I guess we all like different things and not every discussion has something interesting for everyone but I am certainly not finding it boring at all and I think I never have done ever since I joined almost two years ago. Are you looking in the right places?

Hi Cupid, I really haven't noticed, I am only here about half an hour a day lately if that so only answer discussions that appear when I am on as so busy doing other stuff right now. I find ones that are interesting though, perhaps sift through discussions from your interests and top discussions rather than just friends list and also some new users as they always bring in great discussions but don't always get the coverage they deserve. Hm.. it has compared to when i first joined the site. I think the reason could be that people want many responses to their discussions so they try to make it as simple and universal as possible. Then it becomes a very common topic and uninteresting to reply to. I notice that i'm also trying to find topics that are easier to respond to as i see more of those kinds of discussions.. so i guess mylot is kind of stuck in a rut.

Hi cupid! I hate you are getting bored. I try and spice things up around here as much as possible.lol..I am kinda new though so mylot is still exciting for me.Maybe if you start a fun and crazy discussion you will get your pleasure back. I hope so..I don't want you to stop coming around.

Most definitely! I find little interest to come here and the pretty face of the page has been changed enormously. I am not amused anymore except for a few people like you who still are fun to talk with.

I say, where you see a problem seek to fix it. You are doing just that, dear cupid. Three discussions lately.... aren't you industrious? Lol Don't get bored! Just go stir up action on your friends discussions and cause a laugh or two.

I always find that around the beginning of the month that there are a lot less discussions and my interest has wavered a bit. I think it has to do with cashouts. Everyone is rushing to make discussions and respond near the end of the month and then when turn over happens they have burnt out all their creative juices. Once payouts happen in the middle of the month, people will be revived again and ready to make more posts and discussions. I could be wrong, but that is just an idea.

Hi cupid...I'm a newbie here and to me Mylot is such an exciting place. I was just saying to my son just five minutes ago that if mylot was a physical place I'd move in permanently. My son who is 19 and also joined a few days ago also loves it here. I suppose it helps if you are a newbie like us because we have a fresh perspective on the place...I wonder how we will feel after having made as many posts as you?...still excited I hope.

Somehow I too am feeling the same . I think many people are either not active in it now a days or they are just responding to others' discussions and not starting interesting enough discussions . I think new discussions on Off-beat topics might be needed to generate more interest and excitement in Mylot .
