i mean it makes no sense.. humans have warm blood.. if you killed a person and he had cold blood he was already dead.. sure the blood will be cold after you kill some one but the saying still makes no sense.. can anyone explain this??!?!! another one of those things you say but have no idea why and of course here i am over thinking as always

The inference is that the killer had cold blood, meaning he had no emotions when he killed someone, and he had no "heart"

Sigh... this is a metaphore. A representation of saying some one was killed by some one else who is devoid of feelings. Cold blood in this sense meant that the person doing the killing is not human! So "was killed in cold blood" means that he was killed in a horrible way that no warm blooded human would be capable of.

it refers to the blood from the heart of the murderer a cold blooded murder is an evil vicious murder where the murderer has no regards for human life. gangland slayings are often referred to as cold blooded murders because these people go around shooting each other like they are shooting tin cans in a back yard.

I think it's mean for the person that is doing the killing....like a reptile I am sure someone who kills another must have cold blood running through their veins....if you have warm blood....warm feelings etc. You wouldn't go around killing someone else...

When there is a fight between two people their blood gets hot and a murder in such situation is hot blooded murder where the killer has no intention to kill. A cold blooded murder is planned beforehand.

Cold heart, cold blood. I think it's odd some of the places people get the things they say. It's fun to try and track it down.

Cold blood means a heinous crime or the manner of killing is merciless and inhuman. It is a term used for many generations by some experts and the way the killing reported on TV and newspapers.
