Who is your best friend and why ?

Hi sahed159, I have many friends but I consider only few of them as my best friend. For me, when I say best friend, it is the person I consider to be the best among the rest. By this I means, he or she is always the person I can turn to when I feel alone and sad. When it seems that almost all of the person's I've known my whole life is not there to keep me company or turn their backs on me during my down moments, he or she is the one who will stand for me and prove the real meaning of friendship.As of now, I can say that I have a person with me whom I consider my very best friend. I met him accidentally in a learning language site. I do not pay attention at him first and let days pass by not minding his friend request. But then, I consider it rude to keep him waiting, so even I don't know him, I accepted him. He help me so much in studying the English language. He is also patient in reviewing the way I pronounce English words and the way I use grammar. Sometimes, he calls me on phone just to talk with me and at the same time, practice myself with the English language. That was the start of our good friendship. He also helped me on my studies. And if he learned there is something wrong, he never left me alone. He always makes me feel that he is there for me. I experienced so much with him. I laughed with him. I cried with him. And as of now, I can say that he is really a best friend for me. In fact, he is also my boyfriend. I saw the goodness of his heart and that is the start of the feelings of love I found with myself.

Hello sahed159! I have two friends which I consider as very cloase to me. They've been with me for years now and they are the one who helped me during the time I need someone to talk to and when I need financially they are always there for me.

My boyfriend is my closest friend, because I know I can tell him anything and trus him. I do have two other best friends that I would go to if I needed to, but there are things I would talk to them about.

I have a number of good friends.I like them very much.actually whom I consider as my friend,he/she is good enough just like best friends.I don't consider all the familiar faces as my friends.And with friends I do share my feelings.I feel relieve. I want those friends for my life.I don't want to lose any one of them at any cost.They are dearer then "Kohinoor" to me.

I personally do not believe it is good to have too many friends. I have a very limited amount of friends, I have 4 best friends, all I have known for many years and I am able to share anything with them, they also share the same with me. I have many acquaintances that I do speak to on a regular basis, such a mums from my sons school and people from around the neighborhood. I do not share anything personal with these people, just a friendly little chat about nothing and thats it. Friends are the people you share your inner most thoughts and feelings with and there is no limits, just unconditional love and support.

I think a person's best friend is the person himself.There is only one person in life who can make you happy and that person is you rest all relationships are conditional.

I have many good friends, but I only have one that I consider my best friend. She and I have known each other since 6th grade and have been through a LOT together in the twenty-three years we've been friends. She's always there when I need her, and I'm always there for her. Neither of us keep score of who does more for the other, and we're both very involved in each other's children's lives. It's like we're sisters. I love that about our friendship.

i am not sure i have best friends. i have always hung out with different people. i have had friends in school who are in different groups, although i hung out more with the popular crowd because i grew up with them. i was always open to meet and hang out with different people. as a young kid, i like studying people and society. it is no wonder i grew up to major in social science in college. it stuck with me through out the years.

Same here. I also have a lot of friends. closed friends as I consider them. But I don't have a best friend. Though I consider them as best friends yet I still see a best friend as someone whom you talk and hang out with especially during down times of my life. Someone I could personally confide with and share things with.

My best friend I met in college. She was dating a friend of mine, then she started going to our college and lived in the same dorm as I did, we just really hit it off, and understand each other because of the things we have been through in life. We have that kind of connection that none of our other friends have.

I have many friends but three best friend whom I can trust my life without any doubt or second thought..One of them have been my friend since three years old in boarding and have spent the whole school life with..I miss her a lot now since she has moved on to Bangalore for her studies..Other two are studying in the same college with me..Have a nice day!

My best friend would have to be my boyfriend. I can count on him for anything. When he says he's going to call me, he will. He listens to everything I have to say, all my problems, and he knows everything there is to know about me. Even though he's my boyfriend, he has also been a great best friend of mine to.

You are right everyone does have friends. An among them there is always a Best Friend. I have had my best friend since I was 15 years old. We have been through it all , There was alot of good times. There were also bad times,But we always seem to get through them. The hard thing is My Best friend don't live around the block from me. My best friend Lives In Vermont which is a 22 hour drive from Illnois . So when every I get free time I either write her, Or I'll call her on the phone.

I just have a few close friends and one really close friend I have had for over 30 years. My friends are people I can trust. I would rather have these 3 close friends than a lot of not so close friends.

My bestfriends are two people. One of them is my mother. She is always there when I need her. My mom is just a good inspiration for me. My other best friend is my cousin. She has always been there. My cousin was there when my sister was not. Those are my two best friends.

YOU ARE NOT VERY RIGHT. Everyone has a number of friends. But not everyone has BEST amongst them. I have learnt to do things my way and not to depend on anybody except GOD. Who i believe strongly can give me evrything i need. I keep my friends at arms lenght. I don't tell anybody everything. No body knows more than 60% about me. And those that knows 60% are my immediate family. It is very risky trust or entrust ur friends too much. I have once been a victim of that. I am not saying you are wrong for av intimate friends. But the truth you can't really trust any one EXCEPT GOD. We humans are bound to change. Humans are not always consistient. They can change. So i can tell u confirmatively that it is very risky to tell anyone(especially friends who are not closely related to u) any thing u want to keep secret. ONCE U SHARE A SECREAT WITH JUST ONE PERSON BELIEVE ME IT IS NO MORE A SECREAT. So if it is a secreat keep it to yourself and yourself alone. Have friends it is good. share your life with them it is alright. BUT DON'T SHARE YOUR PERSONAL LIFE WITH ANYONE EXCEPT GOD. MAY GOD HELP U

i haven't had a best friend since child hood. i don't trust anyone enough to call them that in the last 15 years. my best friend who i haven't seen in over 20 years is my best friend because he saved me from myself many times. he was always there to stop me from being crazy. always had great advice. i in turn made myself out to be similar to him in the years after i left my old neighborhood.. i started to see he was right about so many things. i applied his point of view to my own and build a literal skyscraper of advice giving and just being a friend those who i was at least somewhat close to. its been years since i saw him and years since we spoke (long story, nothing i did) but he'll always be my best friend. i actually have 2 best friends but the one i speak of is the better of the 2. he's like the calm smart non dangerous me. my other best friend represents the wild me but with a dose of reality checks.
