Far sighted or near sighted what are you?

I'm nearsighted too, and I have been wearing contact lenses for many years; now it looks like I am getting longsighted as well. They have bifocal lenses fortunately, I can't imagine wearing glasses!

I am near sighted. But I don't wear the glasses at usual. I will wear glasses when I watch TV. I love China

I am neither I guess, but I need glasses for both reading and distance. My vision is good, except I can't read words without glasses and I can't see in anything resembling 3D without glasses.

I am also near sighted like you as I have astigmatism, well it runs in our family. There are times that I use my eyeglasses when I am watching tv or using the computer. My vision is like 200/200 which in turn the perfect vision should be 20/20. If I am rich I would like a laser eye correction to get my normal vision back but its too expensive.

I am near sighted too. I don't need glasses to read, but I definitely need to wear glasses when I am driving. That's so dangerous to be driving on a highway.

I am near sighted although I don't really see that well close up either. My vision is pretty bad. My son is actually far sighted, so he has issues with seeing things up close like when he is reading.

My vision sucks. Im near sighted and have astigmatism too. But if I dont have glasses or contacts in I cant see crap even up close thats how bad my eyes are.

It was weird reading about your vision because that is exactly what my vision is...LOL, seriously I need glasses to drive and watch tv/movies and I have had astigmatism since high school... so my glasses have a tint on them to block out the uv lights to help with my sight. I do wear my glasses when I am on the computer most of the time, but I can read it perfectly fine... just when my eyes get tired I need my glasses...LOL happy mylotting.

I absolutely cannot see anything at a distance. I used to have to wear my glasses when I drove at night, or else my eyes would play tricks on me. I would see leaves rustling in the street, and swerve out of the way thinking that it was chimpmunks or something like that. I don't drive anymore, but I still notice how blind I am when I go out to eat places and I have to read from a menu that is placed above the counter. I usually have to ask if they have a takeout menu that I can look at, just so I can hold it close up to my face.

I am far sighted and boy do I hate it. I hated wearing glasses and then I got contacts. I also have astigmatism which I don't really notice, but I know I have it. I make sure that I take a break when using the computer for too long or from watching TV too long to let my eyes regroup. I don't think my eyes are actually too bad and I can still kind of sorta see things when I don't have my glasses or contacts on.
