I live with three other people and all of us have signed a separate lease agreeing to pay x amount each month. Recently we have found out that one roommate has not paid in about three months, and we are looking to be evicted now....

rebelmel Well, I was hoping to find someone who is familiar with these laws on here! I honestly do not have time to find a lawyer for this; very very time sensitive. I was looking for immediate advice!

rebelmel We all signed separate leases with only what we owe to the landlord as the amount owed. But, he also does not have a say in who moves into that room. We are the lease holders of the apartment, so it is our responsibility to find an occupant for that room,...

rebelmel Communication is huge. This is something I keep trying to talk to my roommate about. She bottles a lot of emotion up, and I tell her she needs to communicate to get what she wants, or else she will just grow to resent the people she cannot communicate with.

rebelmel You need to make sure that you can actually earn enough to support yourself without the job before you quit it. If you quit without having something to fall back on, you might find yourself in a really really rough position.
