I think both are OK in respective category, what is category? lets discuss. AMD processors are very nice for fast DATA bus speed as they have very fast front side bus speed capacity. But due to this speed they always get hot and computer may stop working and this problem is generally happen in comparatively hot climate regions. Intel Processor have slightly slow data speed but they are more reliable in hot climatic condition. So in cold reason AMD processors are good with fast speed and in hot or warm climatic condition, Intel processors are reliable. There are nothing different in clock speed as this is available according to processor capacity.

I think so, coz my friend have AMD laptop and the problem is that her laptop get hot faster. But, it is quite good when I playing game with her AMD. It is not like when I use Intel.

Oh i see is that so. I'm planning to get a new laptop too and I was thinking about trying AMD. So it can not stand for a long time. I guess its not applicable for me. I always use my laptop for 10 hrs a day surfing the net.

I don't know why, but I like Intel only. Perhaps its brand is much more famous and it's also much more expensive:) I love China

really it isn't going to matter much if you get one of the quad core processors! those bad boys will run anything out today up to max specs without slowing down at all! They do run a pretty penny but they are worth it in my opinion. You could even run multiple games at their highest performance while surfing the web and those processors could handle it all!

Oh, but what if you just want to compare that processor with the same specs?
