It depends on your budget, requirements and whether you prefer an AMD or an Intel set. My machine is running with an Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Processor with a P35 Motherboard, which is quite a well-known and reasonably-priced set for overclocking. But P35 and E5200 are not the latest model. If you want a more updated specification, I am sorry that I cannot help... Finally, please remember whether a build can be overclocked or not has no guarantee ;-)

I don't really have any overclocked computer but my AMD64 with MSI mainboard can be easily overclocked via the software which came together. I didn't try since it is quite risky and my PC's ventilation is not very good. My video card, on the other hand, is a 6600GT. GT means it is a 6600 overclocked version and it was very very hot that it melted its own cooling fan! I was forced to get the CoolerMaster in order to keep the temperature low.
Since then, I've vowed not to try overclocking any part of my PC because of that "better" performance, I might need to fork out extra money to buy new equipments!
