Powdered milk

I always have some powdered milk handy, it can be used for hot drinks like tea and coffee or in cooking. I would'nt reccomend it for drinking on its own though, the taste is'nt all that good on its own. I tried some with cereal once and it was just like plain water.

We do not use powder milk as no body in the house likes it. We use dairy milk supplied by the dairy on daily basis.

I love dairy milk a lot but because the price of 1L has gone up so tremendously, I can't afford to buy it anymore. So now my husband and I both drink powdered milk. Of course it is not as tasty as dairy carton milk but at least it's still milk.

we don;t use powdered milk as we can get fresh milk everyday by dairy in india. but as now i am in kuwait, here we will take skimmed milk and the packet last for one week. and taste will be like fresh milk only. we make tea and coffee with this milk and we make deserts with this milk and we use this milk in indian curry recipes. i don;t like powdered milk taste. it will not be sweet as ordinary milk and tastes bad. i once made one sweet item with it called peda in our india. for it i used powder and the taste was good for that recipe.

powdered milk could be more affordable, but would you like to prepare a milk when you're totally running out of time or to stressed out? i suggest you go for fresh milk. well that's a suggestion.^_^ cheers!

i like yogurt very much. in my childhood, i used powder milk, maybe at that time, the taste is alright. but nowadays, the powder milk doesnt have so much "milk taste" like before. i think it's very helpful to have regular milk or yogurt

We don't use powdered milk. Never have liked it. We do use skim milk which keeps longer than regular milk or 2%. Doesn't spoil so fast and can be kept for a week or more. Since only two of us are here now, we just buy a quart and that will last a full week. Powdered milk reminds of me flavored water. Just doesn't taste right to me but I see your point for using for storage purposes.

I drank powder milk when i'm a little girl,and even when i'm in residence at school.It's instant and convinence. But if you buy the powder milk that is not in good quality,it will taste not too good,and also bad for health.

We use here powdered milk. We prefer powdered because lifespan is longer. the taste maybe differs with the brand, some powdered milk have flavor like vanilla.
