twilight or harry potter?

I like Harry Potter better than Twilight. Twilight had classical story where woman fall in love with vampire n got conflict of vampire between warewolf. But Harry Potter had their own world. Magic world that similiar with our real world. J.k Rowling can show us how real their world who twilight can't. I always notice in my head n imagine if twilight's world is juz fantacy. But i can't do the same with Harry Potter. Nice to see other Harry Potter fans like u. :)

I prefer Twilight. It is more fascinating and endearing than Harry Potter, you got to fall in love with the characters of Bella and Edward than that of Harry. Well, the two fantasy movies should not be compare because they are two different plot. Harry Potter focuses on the adventure of a gifted wizard while Twilight relates the struggle of two young people living in a different world deeply in love. So the plots are widely different, and most likely these two wonderful films have different pack of audience.

I haven't watched Harry Potter movies. Though I always have the chance to watch it but I chose not to. It's not that it's not good. I just don't feel like watching it. But I like the Twilight and I'm waiting for the sequel.

Definitely, Harry Potter for me. From the story telling, to effects and acting, Harry Potter is much much better than Twilight.

Don't shoot me, but I've never liked Harry Potter. And I've read all the books and seen all the movies... so I'm not speaking in ignorance. It's not that I think they're bad... it's just that I personally don't like the stories. I didn't expect to like Twilight either... but as it turns out... I fell in love with the series pretty much immediately. You see... Twilight is taking the spotlight because it's newer than Harry Potter. That's how these things work. Sometime soon, some other mega-bestseller is going to take the spotlight. It's just the cycle of... umm... bookselling? Nothing can keep the spotlight forever.

Harry Potter is good but I think I prefer Twilight. I've seen the Harry Potter movie (but not read the book) and I've read the Twilight book (but not seen the movie yet). I do intend to see the movie, I have bought the books and I'll probably also buy the movie(s) when they release on dvd, as well as go to the theater. I'm not a bandwagon type of person, so I didn't go nuts about Twilight when it first came to everybody's attention. I wasn't even sure what it was about although I did know it was a bestseller, a movie was coming, and EVERYBODY was reading/watching it. My sister gave me the book as a gift, and now that I've read it, I'm hooked completely. I love to read anyway but I haven't had as much time in the last couple years to read like I used to. I am drawn to rich, passionate stories with a lot of detail, it's much easier to follow Bella than Harry - I'm a chick, what can I say?

I've always loved vampire stories, and I gotta admit that the Stefenie Meyer books are great... but when it comes to the movies, I think that Twilight has a long way to go. I'm sure the films will improve with time, since the first one was a low-budget one, but I'm sticking to Harry Potter meanwhile. Happy MyLotting and have a nice day! Xp

I m a great fan of harry potter too.how many times ever i watch I don't just get bored. But still i feel that HP books can be depicted on screen in a better way to maintain the same tempo and feel.. But still harry potter rocks. have a great day :);)

I love Harry Potter and Twilight. The Harry Potter movies are really well done, but you have to remember that a lot of money is put into these movies. The twilight movie has unkown actors and they don't have a big budget. So for right now I like the Harry Potter movies the best but who knows New moon might be amazing.

Well I think both movies are good and of course one Twilight movie cannot really surpassed what Harry Potter has already accomplished but I have to admit that although I'm in my thirty, I still like the movie (Twilight) and the twist of romance they have there. I even have it as my layout in one of my personal site and for me to do that, it really must mean that I really really liked it... And of course, who can forget their amazing soundtrack?! I suspect that the soundtrack may have contributed a lot why I like the movie so much!! And since at first I don't know the title of the songs nor who sang them, I even researched for it at you tube and then downloaded them into my player. It's a pity though that the director don't want to direct it's sequel. Although we don't have any idea yet on how it might turn out, I think it would have been great to retain the original people, so that at least they already have a working rapport amongst them and the director would know how to explore the talents of his actors to maximize it for the benefit of high quality outcome of the movie...Finally, I have to say that Bella and Edward Cullen do look good together... =)
