We send our children to kindergarten to satisfy several goals. To start learning, to have their own society, and leave ourselves free time?
Parents have different criteria for selecting kindergartens. Among location convenience, low charges, good teaching environment, etc. which is your priority?

I would like to share with you my experience with my kids and my never ending quest for a good school. I tried putting my kids to a middle class school, semi-private school and high end school. I can say that you ought to prepare ahead of time so that you can send your kid to the best school in town. Education is so important. Your kids' environment matters so much to his growth and development. But don't get me wrong. School is just a part of the 0bargain. There has to be parent and teacher joint effort in building your child's intellectual growth. Sometimes even public school can produce the brightest kid. What I'm saying is that we, parents, should take a big part in molding the study habits of our kids. As a mother, I failed terribly in this part with my two boys. But I am still hoping that I can still correct their bad study habits.the best thing to do it is to exert an extra effort to check on your kids' works as soon as they get home. Review their lessons every single day. Make your kids develop some love towards studying. The best time to do it is while your kids are in their first year of school. In this case, they will develop the habit of studying their lessons not only during examination days but everyday. Learning is certainly attained in this manner.

That is true. We send our kids to kindy for many reasons. Some are primary reasons and some are secondary reasons like having some free time for the grown-ups and having time to work. I would also say that one of the primary reasons for kids to kindy is also to socialize and build better confidance in life.
Among many of the criteria for kindy, I would put safety & environment to be the most important when I choose a kindy for my daughter. Following that will be the teaching method and the teachers themselves. Why I say safety is priority is because when our children is at the kindy, it will be in that environment and the hands of the teachers. We will be away from them for a short period of time and we as parents would not want to feel worry about our kids in school if the kindy shows of safety issues. We want to be at peace of mind when we leave our children in the hands of the kindy.
