Genuine discussion about making money online

I have recently started dabbling in making money online because I'm trying to stay at home with my son and finances are tight. Today I joined Mylot and have been looking at various discussions concerning making money online. I appreciate the advice given in these discussions, but sometimes it's hard to know how much of it is true. There are several companies out there that have referral programs and sometimes it's hard to differentiate between the people that just want to sign you up and make money referring you, and the people who are offering honest advice. Consequently, I would like to start a discussion thread wherein people can give tips about where they've made money online, without promoting their own agendas. I'll be the first to start. Youdata.com pays me about 80 cents every Friday directly to my Paypal for looking at quick ads. (No selling your soul to other companies required.;) I also enjoy earning points on mypoints.com in exchange for gift cards. What sites do you use to make money online?

Jodie...thanks for the tip about the Federal Census Bureau. I went to their website and it said I needed to call my local office number. Is that how you got your work at home job through them?

Actually, my local officer contacted me because she used to work with my mom and thought that I might be able to work for them. Call your local workforce center and they should give you all the information you need.

I dont find it worth spending time on Ciao. If u spend the same time on reviewstream then u can earn more.
All u need to make sure that ur review is atleast 200 words min and you can write about anything under the sky unlike ciao and other review sites which asks you to pick items from the list they already have on their site.
Few things u should know about reviewstream.com
-Min payout is $50.00 through paypal.
-There is no need to sign up for an account just make sure you use your paypal email address where you are asked to enter the email address.
-The review acceptance may take 3-4 days. They will email u.
-You get paid Min 0.40 and max 2.00 dollars for every review, In addition u also you will be paid 10 cents each if someone votes on ur reviews.
-At times while submitting you will get a message immediately that ur review is not valuable and we dont want it... just add a few more contents to the same review immedaitely and they will accept it. Once accepted for sure u will recieve 40 cents..
-Last but not the least... I am tired typing so much.. :)

Online money seems to be very difficult to make unless you're one of those who are gurus and make lots of money teaching people to make online money. Cheers!!

If you want more money you can start your own blog. I do not know how far it is true. I have started a new blog http://adeptsbay.blogspot.com But creating and earning from blog is not at all an easy process. It depends on many factors. Go to my blog and leave a comment what improvement I have to do.
