Are you a computer Addict??

I am a computer addict. I won't last a day without opening my computer and surfing the net, playing games and other activities I do with the computer. Even when I'm supposed to be preparing for an exam, I usually review in front of the computer while surfing the net! I spend lots of hours in front of my PC (ranges from 8-16+ hrs!). That's why when my computer was sent to the repair shop last December, I was very bored and I kept on calling the shop to check the status of my PC. I got the PC back after almost 3 weeks and that was already January (quite a long wait)! Within those weeks of waiting, I often visited internet shops but also spent my time doing other activities like biking and other outdoor activities (which I think was a positive effect of being away from the computer for a while). Now that I got my PC back, I'm even more addicted to it but I also manage to do activities not involving the computer.

hi i am a computer addict..i use computer for several hours in a day to surf internet, to play games and watch movies etc...i faced the same situation when exams are a head.then i restrict myself not to open computer and remove the internet connection until exams are completed..this gave me better results so try for it...

Yes, I am a computer addict. I have been using computer since 1983. I had a home computer BBC Micro with 6502 processor. It had no hard disk and it came with Basic compiler loaded. Before that I had a Casio PB110 pocket computer. It was a pc with only 544 bytes of memory. I learned my computer programming in that tiny machine. I always carried it with me. I think I am the biggest computer addict.

Yeah, I'm An Addict,I Just Cant stop Checking Out If Anything New Has Been Added To My Forums Or If I've Got New Mail, And If Nothing Has Changed, I Try To Find Something Else To Do Or A New Website or Forum To Join.

Hmmm. Am i an addict in computer? I don't know... This is my business. I need to be infront of the computer everyday. But I love being infront of the computer. Makes me learn more and more everyday. God bless to all of us!!

I too am a computer addict. I am too addicted to Lexulous ( a variant of scrabble game played online developed by Indian brothers) and just yesterday I discovered myLot and started my addiction here too.

Well, it does happen and there are times when I find most of my waking moments where I have to be online, or here in myLot. Yes, I do work a Full time job, and so that takes from my time, but on my days off I do spend a lot of time online here in myLot posting and responding back to others, or checking my Email as well. Yeah, i'm computer addict. Since i'm a sys admin, i always monitor all of my servers and i also games addict :p I try to not playing computers for 1 day, by going somewhere *taking vacation* but it seems i can't far away from computers *lol* because i always bring my lappies everywhere.

I am not addictive with computer but I will use computer because nowadays my work is on computer so I am tending to use computer not as an addiction but it is a useful.

I feel sorry for you friend ,because even i have gone through this phase,its really a dilemma to chose between temptation and value ... But you can try to restrict your no. of hours of addiction . Cheers..all the best in your exams Vishwas

I have the same as you,I'm working with computer and in 1 day a could use computer not less then 15 hours.I used my computer to browse internet and gaming,the time to do it are more than the time that i used to work.Yes of course i'm a computer addict,and because i'm a computer addict, i very like to mylotting
