Hello fellow myLotters, I'm curious to see how many people prefer to wear socks and those who like to go bare-footed. I'll give a list of a few places where so you can answer to your full extent:1. In your own home?
2. At your friends' homes?
3. During summer?
4. During winter?I usually prefer to go bare-foot around my own house, unless it's winter and really cold, then I put on a pair of socks. Otherwise I wear socks, unless it's summer and I can wear sandals/flip-flops. What about you? Happy myLotting!

I am from India and I only use to wear socks when I put on my shoes.Otherwise no.It is because the climatic condition here is hot and it is unwise for me to wear socks all around the day as any one do in the cold weather countries. So,I use socks only when I use shoes.Cheers!

I definitely like to go bare foot as much as possible. At my house, I am always bare foot. At my friends' houses, I always wear sandals, unless they don't allow shoes on in the house, in that case, I'm bare foot. In both summer and winter, I am bare foot. I wear sandals any time I am outside. So, I pretty much never wear socks. The only time I wear socks is when I have to wear regular shoes or dress shoes, which is usually just for something like a wedding or an interview.

As much as I hate it, I can't go barefoot. I get terrible foot cramps. Even in bed, I have to wear socks and slippers. Very painful. I really miss running around barefoot. The cramps started when I was in my early 20's.

i HATE socks and only wear them when i wear shoes and i don't have much shoes. i'm normally in slippers or during the winter i have boots when i go out. at home i have little bootties i got from my sister because winters up here are so cold and i wasn't used to it. i grew up knowing that when you enter someone elses house your shoes come up so i'm normally bare feet all over the place. at my grandmothers house we even went around the house outside bare feet. it was just how we were raised.

1. I go with slippers without socks at home
2. It depends on my footwear, if I am wearing slippers I go barefoot if with shoes I go with socks.
3. Barefoot of course
4. There is no winter here but during very cold nights I wear socks while sleeping.
Well at home I wear slippers but no socks.

Hello there reichiru! =) Here in our country is tropical. so no winter, spring stuff like that.
I prefer not to wear socks, but i dont go bare feet. I always wear my slippers, because the ground is kinda cold when the night arrives. =) and slippers are protection from germs and bacterias. =)

1. I go bare-feet in my home all the time. It is comfortable! Most people should be same as me.
2. It is depends on the weather ,therefore ,see below.
3. I dont like wear socks in summer only if go sport since I need wear sport shoes. It is awful that wearing sport shoes without socks!!
4. I have to wear socks in winter because I am cold blooded. Beside that, I would like to wear a pair of boots and legging to keep myself warm :D

it really depends where i am going... in my own house, i prefer to go bare feet unless if it is winter and the weather is really cold... when i wear shoes, usually i wear socks as well... but not in summer as the weather is too hot and humid... when i wear sandals or thongs, then i won't wear socks at all... take care and have a nice day...

I love going barefoot.
1. almost all the time, even in the winter
2. it depends on how long i'm staying. but i tend to keep them on more.
3. always (inside)
4. almost always barefoot, sometimes i'll wear houseshoes, but hardly ever just socks (inside)
But of course the problem with always going barefoot is the rough skin (heel and side of foot) at least for me. But I just soak my feet more.
5.

I always have to wear socks, in all of the above scenarios. My feet get cold easily and are always the coldest part of my body, so going barefoot can be uncomfortable. Only time I'm not wearing socks is in the shower, of course, the pool, or if I go to some amusement park or something with water rides or something. Even at friends houses, I usually don't even take off my shoes, unless specifically told to. I find it rude to just flop down and kick off the shoes at someone else's house.

Where I live it's courteous to take off our shoes when we enter someone else's home, cause we don't want to dirty their carpets and stuff. My feet usually get pretty cold also, but I still like to walk around bare footed if I can. Thanks for your response!

I am so used to wearing socks that I cannot imagine a life without them! In the summer weather I still wear socks! I guess my style is jeans and t-shirt come summer and trainers obviously. You become used to a set pattern and this is definitely me. I don't wear those thin cotton socks either! I wear walking or hiking songs, they are quite thick and very comfortable. I'm a bit put off by flip flops and have never worn them however I do accept that they can be a good thing when it comes to airing your feet. Andrew

Haha yeah you wouldn't want your feet to get too smelly My boyfriend has flat feet, so he has to wear runners and socks all the time, even in summer, because most sandals and flip flops don't fit him well. And I understand about being "used to a set pattern," I wear jeans 300 out of the 365 days of the year on an annual basis Thanks for your response!

I live in Mexico and almost always go barefoot in my own home as well as my friends homes. If I go out I throw on a pair of flip flops. You know the Kenny Chesney song, "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems." Unfortunately being female I always wear a shirt. Happy mylotting

Haha I've never heard of the song before, but the way you said it made it sound really funny. Of course I wear a shirt too, I'm a female also And yupp I guess it would be hot in Mexico, too hot to wear socks most of the time, so going bare foot is a good idea. Thanks for your response!
