What do you think about online payments?

I love being able to pay online! So fast and easy and it also save money on the stamps and envelopes. I pay almost all my bills on line, phone, garbage, internet, credit cards, just to name a few. I have never had a problem with it, it is always posted and paid. I think the best part about it I dont have to lick the envelopes!! LOL!

I think it is an easy way to do all money transaction especially need a fast transaction. But It needs a good secure system. Usually it used for a big transaction.

I normally make sure I get all the details of the seller if it is someone I have not dealt with before. On a general whole though, I love online payment,I use it to pay my utility bills, my loans, and it makes transferring money to my mom safe, because I wouldn't want to carry that much cash around. I love too, that there is a visible electronic record; it makes retracing my steps so easy.

In my opinion, online payments make our way easy to transact. It speeds up the transaction. Often it is very convenient to use this kind of payments. However, there are several things that may reduce the effectiveness of online payments. Take for example if there are frauds or anything that can take away our money. In that case, we should be careful with whom we transact and the reliability of the system that is being used.

Though it is said to be a secured one by the sellers,it not as like due to advancement of spy wares, hackers,scam selling sites. I never like to do online purchase of products, except for some software. Nowadays,they are cheating us very easily even in the shops even if check the products many times. In case of online purchase ? Can we say that they will not cheat us?.So i am always against online purchase.

I would choose reputable company as the object of the payment!

there are so many things going on these days that i have failed to keep track with. for me, it is just impossible yet to indulge in this act. i have never adapted yet to online purchases. my daughter has been doing a lot of shopping online already. me? as always, i refuse to do so. yes, it can be credited to being insecure about how these transactions take place. but, there is a second reason for this. i just couldn't adapt fast enough to the fast faced changes which, has happened due to the onset of having used so much technology in the conduct of various businesses in this world of today.

I was wary some years ago but then I started using online payments for several transactions and so far so good. I feel that online is no different from offline and something could go wrong on both but mostly it doesn't.

Online payments are an easy mode of paying.I make my telephone bills payment online.I get a transaction number after making the payment.It is a very secure way to make payment.We can avoid long queues for payments.We should not give our personal details to others or they will use our money.

I am still waiting to get paid by mylot it's only $10.00 but still it has not threw my account at the bank and that was before xmas 2008 that a bit much don't you think. cd

Years ago when I first started using the internet, I too was skeptical of sending online payments or making online purchasing. I refused to use this service in any way for a long time until I pretty much had to. I started with paypal and found it to be a very secure way of transferring money online. I still refused to order online with a credit or debit card because I was afraid of someone getting my information and using it. Now I have found it to be very convenient to order online and I have never had a problem although I only order from well know websites such as pricewatch.com , tigerdirect.com , amazon.com , gnc.com and others. I believe with the advancement of technology and the rise of internet popularity we will all find ourselves using a lot more online services. I still refuse to pay bills such as the phone and power online but in the future I may start. I do check my checking account balance online sometimes instead of calling the toll free number and using my phone and I am set up to bank online I just prefer not to at this time. I do believe that the internet is pretty secure to make online transactions. I don't worry about someone getting my information any more. The only thing I worry about with online ordering is that the website I order from is legitimate.
