Alright, I haven't exactly been to any of it. But I have seen their sites. Both are big companies and are selling variety of things you need, For less expensive to cheap prices!! But I'd like to know, which would you prefer to go shopping? I guess this would be a little hard to pick! Am I hearing, "Oh gosh, I can't pick! I go to both!" Lol

i go to both stores. We have them both less than half a mile from our place. It depends on what I need to buy. From what I observe, groceries and food items are cheaper in walmart. If I plan my menu for the whole week, Walmart Supercenter is the one stop shop. I get everything I need there from poultry to fruits, from bread to dairy, you name it. Target on the other hand, is a bit upscale than walmart. The Target we have here, sells less food item. But they do have a good selection of clothes on their clearance rack. Once I got a mossimo tops for a little over than $3. But from the frequency of visits, I would say I go to walmart more.

My town has the second largest Walmart in our state. I like Walmart. We get all of our daily supplies there and groceries. I would have to say I like Walmart better on a day to day basis, but I love to wonder around Target when I get the chance. They have tons of neat stuff too.

Y a you are truly right that we go to both. As and when we feel an afinity for a store depending on the offers they are giving us, we go to the store. I think it makes a lot of sense to choose theone which is cheaper.

I absolutely love Target! I can spend hours wandering around the big Target stores and they always have lots of great things. I've really never liked Walmart - it's always way too crowded and they seem to have a lot of low quality items. I hardly ever go there - only if I know they have the best price around on a larger item or if there is something I'm looking for that I can't find somewhere else and I've confirmed that they have it. In fact, there's a Walmart closer to my house but I still drive a little farther to go to Target. For me, it's worth it to go to Target because I like it so much better!

We shop at Wal-mart because it's cheaper than Target and every penny counts these days!

Personally for me, WalMart wins hands down. For the prices, selections, price, etc. there is no comparison. If I had to choose, for me it would have to be WalMart, and cannot really imagine there not being one to go too as well. I am not a Big fan of Target actually and just find them not the Best as well.

we only have target here and no walmart... but we do have k-mart here... it is something similar to walmart... compare to target, i still go to k-mart more often as the price there is still relatively cheaper than target... take care and have a nice day...

i have a moral problem with Walmart so i avoid them 99% of the time, once a year my partner gets a gift card there so we go and spend the gift card, but beyond that, i'm a target girl. they are a few cents more expensive, but their items tend to be a higher quality. you can save money by shopping at either, target accepts coupons and also mails me coupons on items they know i purchase. i also have a target card, so i get rewards. just last weekend i went and bought a storage ottoman that is PERFECT for keeping blankets downstairs..

There's no Target in Canada, so my family always go to Wal-Mart. Of course, we keep saying that Target almost practically the same thing as wal-Mart, so I don't think it makes much of a difference. It's just more convenient to go to Wal-Mart for me cause Target is not in my immediate area. And I've only gone in there once before, and my impression is that it's very messy.

I think that Target is a better store they sell a lot more things than wal-mart and they have great prices. They are a lot cleaner than wal-mart. Target is a wonderful store and everyone should check it out.

NO targets in my town. When I go out of town I always visit Target and I think that they are a bit more expensive than Walmart. Maybe I am just not seeing the deals there.
I do like the layout of the target stores better which makes a better shopping experience. But to save money, I would have to pick Walmart.

Target is more expensive than Walmart. Target tries to appeal to a more "upscale" shopper, so they might carry much the same merchandise but their floor plan is prettier, the colors brighter, the lighting better and the prices higher. Other than that, they are essentially the same. I don't like Target--higher prices and whatever I'm after, they usually don't have. If they do have it I look at the price and walk out. So a trip to Target, for me, is a waste of time and I no longer bother.

hello smooch
yes, i would say that wal-mart is a lot bigger company than target ever thought about being. and in my opinion of shopping either at wal-mart or at target, i would pick wal-mart any day of the week to go shopping at for their cheap prices. but i usually just shop at target when they have something on sell that i might want to buy. and i enjoy shopping at wal-mart around all of the different types of holidays that we have. so i might go to wal-mart five or six times a year is all. target is more expensive on the products in their stores versus shopping at wal-mart, unless target has something good on sell.
take care and have a beautiful day today!

Where I grew up we only had wal mart. no targets available so I grew attached. Now I'm in a town where there are more targets around than wal mart. I will still travel out of my way to make it to a wal mart.

In my opinion Target has the best Clearance sections and a lot of them. They have clearance items in every department of the store. That is what I'm looking for when I go shopping. Good Deals!
I like Walmart because they do have a nice crafting department. From what I've heard they are planning on doing away from that department so I won't be going to Walmart near as often.
We have a Super Walmart here so I can get grocery while I'm there. I don't actually go to Walmart to buy other stuff, but I will look to see if they have any bargains while I'm there.
