Should Valentines day have a holiday from work

Hi friends,
Valentines day is coming close. What are your plans for the day. It is a day which is celebrated all over the world. Don't you think like other festivals,there should be a holiday on this day from offices so that everybody can enjoy the day.
I would love if there is a holiday and we can enjoy with friends and family and if we can meet people we care and who care for us on this day.
What do you think????????????

No, no, no!!!! LOL There is already too much hype out there about Valentine's Day and pressure on men to perform the perfect romantic date. Making it a Holiday would further alienate those who do not have a significant other or some special someone they are rushing home to see and make them feel special. My husband has a hard enough time dealing with the regular holidays where he has to proved some kind of romance to me, lol. I think we should leave it as it is. It's already turned into propaganda for the stores and the media..... I love romance and all, but Valentine's day has turned so commercial lately. Let's just leave it alone :)

Good day there cyberpark. Welcome to mylot. Yes, I agree with you. Valentines should be consider as a Holiday. People nowadays are all lovers and they should have even an extra day for their loveones. Those 24hrs could be a long lasting memory that lovers couldn't forget. Affection, cuddling, kissing, being sweet for 24hrs is awesome and unforgettable.
