When you young you look forward to being sweet 16 then the big 18 so you can buy smokes and vote.
After that it's the most celebrated 21[, so what's to look forward to after that.
I'm gonna be 45 next month which I can't believe I made it that far
and I feel good I know some people they freak out when they turn 30 or 40 a lot of them really get hit hard when they turn 50.
So far I never had a bad Birthday and crying that I'm a year older.
How about you did you have a bad year that was hard for you?

I don't really celebrate birthdays that much. We just do it basically with the whole family in a very private way. I would say that I have had a bad year already wherein I almost succumb to the negativities surrounding me. Good that there were people and angels who guided me and took me out of that mess.

I don't want to get older either but 20 isn't old at all.
You only as old as you feel in your heart.
I feel like I'm 20

After 21 comes 30 then 40 then 50 then 60. I'm waiting for that big bad birthday that sends some women into a deep dark depression. I'm pushing 70 really hard and it hasn't happened yet. I was too busy raising and supporting my children in my earlier years, then I actually began to look forward to being half a century old! What an accomplishment! But birthdays were never a big deal to me after my 16th. It's been a long time since I can remember a birthday being anything other than just another day, even though friends and family help me celebrate it every year, I think it means more to them than to me. What's to look forward to? The unknown. You never know what's going to happen in the next year or the next decade. You just have to keep on living to find out.

Hey missy! Yup! All the ones that you mentioned! I hated
turning 30, 40 and 50 was the ultimate! Until of course I
turned 55! Now I just don't know what to say! I want to
stay where I am! I wish I was 45 again! I thought that was
old! Damn! Wait till you get to 50! There's nothing you can
do about getting older so consider the alternative and that
would really suck!

Usually when my birthday's coming, I sometimes have this blue feelings, but during my birthdays, as usual I take care of the kids, and make the house chores so when we go out to dine our house would be in order. And I'm just glad that my kids are with me, coz they make me feel better on my birthday. :)

Hi missybear! I haven't had one that was really sad for me or hard to face. I'm always thankful for the age because I'm not going through the tough times I went through when I was twenty something. If I do have a tough time at least now I'm experienced enough to know what to do about them.I'm ok with b-days right now anyway.lol

maybe ti age of 25,i really waited for my birthday, after that i used to dread the arrival of my birthday,as it is a constant reminder to me that i am aging.ofcourse my parents and my hubby keep reassuring me ,that i look more lovelier as the years pass by(i think their opinions donot count,as they always say good about me)
