In this day and age, with so many people divorcing, even after years of marriage, does true love still exist? Even in marriages that last 20-30 or more years, it often seems strained or boring, is it true love or convenience? Is true and lasting love still possible?

For me I believe in true love. I believe that there is a thing called long, true and lasting love. The reason why people lasts for couple of years together is not because they have kids or they just want a whole family but because there is love. If you come to think of it, why do marriages lasts that long if one no longer loves the other? Is it just a game that they want to know who gives up first? For me love is sacred and sincere. It is lasting and it is real. If you have seen the movie The Notebook there you will realize that a real love lasts. We may encounter some people on the road but we will end up looking for that one person we truly love. I know some may just be taking things for granted but do not stay with a person you do not love anymore because both of you will suffer.
I adore those couples who still manage to stay together even though they have been through tough trial times. But I adore more those who are honest and can stand for the reason of love why they are still together. Again I am not saying that true and lasting love is the only reason but it should always be the top reason. It will exists so long as we believe it does.
