How would you spend it?

It's the last day of the world. There is a HUGE meteorite or some other devastatingly big crater crashing directly towards earth and you have exactly 36 hours left on this planet, because for all we know, and for all our scientists can predict, the earth will be blasted to smithereens. What do you do? Get on your knees and pray? Go and find that one person you've loved your entire life and let them know it? Spend all your money on a ticket to the one place in the world you've never been before? What would you do?
I personally would spend my time gathering my family together. If my children are grown at this time, I would with my husband to wherever they are, and just spend these last hours loving them and letting them know they were loved. Maybe we'd all look over home movies or we'd play one last rowdy board game. If it happened now, while my children are but mere toddlers, then I'd do the same. But I'd take them to the one place I know they love more than anything and shower them with hugs and kisses. When the time came, I would hold them close with my husband, our arms wrapped around them tight. We'd pray, and close our eyes and wait for God's glory.....
But what about you????

I would have to say... all of the above lol... I would want to do those things on my list of to do's before I die. I would want to spend my last hours with my family. I would want to be able to travel to those far away places. I would want to go back to tell some of the people that I have loved and lost that they are still in my thoughts. I would want to do those things I'd always dreamed of doing and never have had the chance yet. Life goes by to fast now, and we always set out to make our goals and dreams come true, so during that 36 hours, that is what I would be doing...

Ya, I'd be doing all of that! But I think when the final hours are announced, I'd probably freak out at first. Like "OH MY GOD, WHAT??" And then I'd take a chill pill and get my family together. I hope that kind of thing doesn't happen, but they are predicting something to that effect will come about Dec. 21, 2012.... who knows!

Well if it happens, just try to relax and breathe. You wouldn't want the last few moments spent in anger! :)

There's also so much to do and it never seems that we will ever had the time, money or energy to do it in our face paced life. I myself would probably get really mad over it, my temper seems to flare when something drastic happens. Bad habit of mine.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. I know some people who have watched the movie Deep Impact and they've said "I would have gone [in this or that store] and taken [this or that] since the world was going to end anyway". And I would look at them like "Why would you need it if the world were ENDING?" lol thanks for your answer :)
