Another fairly dead day on the lot

Hello dawnald. I am one of those people who used to be at home on weekends. So I have no time to get online and post a thing on here. My weekend with my family is great, as we stayed at home all together. Sunday was also good as we have some visitors came in to have lunch with us. They brought seafoods that we cooked at home...

this weekend i'm just in home like the other weekend. take care of my mother and accompany her. she's been sick 2 months. just lying and sit down in bed. yesterday i practiced her to walk and bring her to the sunshine. i'm hoping that she will get well soon and can walked again.

I'm here! (waves her hand) I was shopping all morning and just had a moment to myself. We don't have a long weekend this weekend, and actually with my husbands job, he never gets even a 2 day weekend, let alone a 3 day weekend. Although next weekend we do plan on going on a little trip from Saturday till Monday, so I won't be around then.

I'm online and doing nothing different. No, that isn't correct. We are having new windows installed tomorrow. It was scheduled for Tuesday, but we were called this afternoon and asked if it would be OK if they came tomorrow instead. My husband and I both said "Yes, let's get this over with."

What am I doing? I spent my lunch hour giving everyone who responded to me a positive rating. Not much going on today - am thinking of a scintillating topic but my brain seems a bit fried. Just spent a whole pile of money for my car to get an oil and transmission change and a new fan belt. I just cannot do things on the cheap with my car as I would not have a job without it and besides, I haven't finished paying for it LOL. Every extra dollar I earn this next year will go onto my car payments to get it down., My interest rate is 19.5% Can you believe that?I've managed to get my credit card down to a tolerable level now as I put all my part time earnings on it as it is at 46% interest. I get paid every three months (in advance) for my p/t job so when the next payment comes I will put it on the credit card. Oh no. I've just remembered that I have to save something towards the daughter's wedding so will puyt half on the car and change the rest into US dollars to save for the wedding. Sorry for a boring response to you post . But you did ask!

Ah yes I hate it when days like this happen but I haven't been on here in a while and it feels good to just sit down and type a whole bunch. I like it when I haven't gotten on here in a while because there are so many good discussions and things like that to reply to and whatnot. Hope you can break the spell of boredom it's pretty contagious and hard to get out of once you get into it just try and stay busy to keep your mind diverted.

Just boring as usaul for me. I was busy catching up on tv shows online that I missed this week. Such as : Lost, supernateral, House and Psyche. This weekend will be just as boring. My husband is on call again. My other favorite site Gather is down right making me mad right now with all its glitches. So, I have basiclly been avoiding the computer. Except for making my pixel signature tags. I made a cute one for St.Patrick's day last night. I hope you have a great day.

Hello there! The weather in my place is not really so good so I decided not to open the computer until a while ago. We had some lightning and thunder so I figured out that if I don't want to end up busting my modem again, I better stay off the net for a while. Anyway, the rain has stopped so far but the sun is still hiding somewhere. I haven't seen the sun in the last few of days... sigh

I am here. Right now I'm at the s/o's house (or whatever he should really be called at this point lol, I'm so used to referring to him as "s/o" on here) watching the boys while everybody else is at work. Once his parents get home to take over the childcare for the evening I will be headed back to my apartment for the weekend. It's close to an hour away so it doesn't make sense to drive here at 6am to get our one son off to school, then take the younger two back to my apartment, then head back here at 2pm, back to my place until 7:30 when their dad gets out of work...so I just stay here during the day when everybody is working. My son here has Monday off, my oldest daughter's school won't be closed and I'm honestly not sure about the middle two. Most schools around here originally scheduled Monday off but some are using it a a make-up day depending on how many snow days they've had. I haven't been living in my middle two children's town long enough to know how many snow days they've had this year.

I am here. I got a long week and now I have to work tomorrow... evening! At least I have a good excuse to not have to accept an invitation (which invitation? )

I am on line for now but I have a birthday party in a couple of hours to go to so I will be getting off shortly to get ready,I get 4 day weekends every once in awhile I will take vacation day for Friday and Monday and I get off on Saturdays&Sundays.It would be great to see who is online the same time as you are.You have a great day.

I'm here! Where are you? LOL I spent today checking all my elderly shut-ins in town to see what they needed for the weekend. Tomorrow I'll go around with fairy cakes and Valentine's cards for them. On Sunday I'll be right back here looking for you! LOL

I'm here. I came to check the responses about drinking cow pee. LOL Yea what a discussion. My kinda boy friend is coming over tonight to get his laundry. Yea I do it for him because his machine is broken. He sat for my cats for a whole month when I was was in the States. I'm doing it for a year instead of paying him for the sits. It's a fair exchange. Such a boring life I have.

We never get a long weekend. A weekend off would be nice. Having my partner off for more than one day in a ten day period could even be settled for.

I had to work today then, when I got home I had to take a cat to the vet wanna go to bed early, but also want to watch a show

i,m here.....and there. i'm usually jumping all over the place, already sang a song on sing snap, doing some research to write a couple of articles, had lunch.......and now i'm gonna go take a nap. be baaaaaack!

Dawn- I'm around. I have class tomorrow for my master thesis so I've been getting some things together for that. The last two weeks have been spent working on a literature review, reading journal articles, and well working hard. I have a family as well, two beautiful children 2 1/2 and 6 months who need me. Our daughter is having surgery next month so it's been setting up appointments etc. My husband is a disabled Vet, and we've been dealing with the VA, VFW and will be contacting the DAV here soon to deal with some serious issues regarding his disability. I don't want to sound braggish, so please don't take anything I say as trying to make someone feel less then they are. I'm just sort of sharing my week with you as you asked where we are lol. I also have been busy with the housekeeping which seems like a neverending job around here. Of course, we've had some fun worked in here. We went to the Mall of America at the start of the week to visit the sharks again. We recently purchased a one-year family membership so we can go whenever we like to Underwater Adventures. It's something I recommend to anyone who comes to visit the great state of Minnesota. I'm still trying to figure out Mylot. I'm learning how to avoid the discussions that may get deleted because they violate guidelines, like those started to bash other members, or find out who people think hates them on here. Not that I tend to be attracted to those negative ones, but those two stuck out recently as I saw one disappear rather quickly. It's nice to know that Mylot takes cares of such things. There have been some nice members on here who've been around awhile who have helped me to learn where the features are, how to rate a topic, etc. I've also started a few topics of my own, nothing daring but just some to get my feet wet on how this works. I also run a coven (I'm pagan) along side my husband so that keeps us busy too. Plus, I'm my husband's secretary. He is a martial arts instructor and opened up his school to the public so heh, as the wife I get the job. And he's a Minnesota Darth Vader Impersonator so I help manage his calendar. Between his businesses, regular 3-11 job, and minister duties, and his college work he's a busy man. And to think he still manages to spend time with his family every day. (Can't say enough about having a great guy). Other then that, I've been trying to check in here once a day. Generally it is during nap time, or late in the evening when I've put them down to bed so that I can give full attention to the moment. I've been working on that lately, trying to stay in the present moment. Hope my response wasn't too long, but if I'm going to respond I might as well make it worthwhile, right? Anora
