home with a sick baby

so i am sitting here home from work with a sick baby and cant get her into the docs till monday so i dont know if i should take her to the er to get check out she is couching up green muscus and her nose is running alot cant breath good so i dont know what to do

I think that I would definetely take her to the emergency room. I'm a new mom of a five week old baby girl, and luckily have had no coughs or runny noses yet. I do know that when I have a concern about anything (bowel movements, funny noises, anything) I call the doctor. It's just better in my opinion to be safe rather than sorry.

she is not that little she is 3 but last month she had the start of pneumonia so that is y i dont know what to do

If she has trouble breathing and is coughing up stuff like that plus has a fever, take her. It's definitely something respiratory. The green is a good indicator of an infection. Without the fever I would observe first. Is there maybe a clinic nearby you could take her to? They are open longer and often also on Saturdays. Just thinking along the line of ERs being very busy around this time of the year and clinics are also cheaper. Follow your gut instincts;)
