update on my mum

As some of you may know my mum has been diagnosed with bowel cancer 4 days after my wedding and it really hit us all hard, as we knew she was sick but we thought maybe the flue or something nothing this serious. She has done 6 weeks of chemo/radiotherapy and then a 6 week break then she had an operation on the 27th jan and it went well, she is still in hospital recovering and they are hoping to let her out next week but she cant come back home ( the hospital is 6 hrs away from home) and they want her to stay close to hospital for about 4 or so days. Then she will have about 6 weeks break and then will have to have chemotherapy but this treatment can be done in our home town luckily. And my mum cant wait til my baby is born as this is really keeping her going and looking forward to the future as she cant wait to be a grandmother again. Mum treatment will finish up around same time maybe a few weeks before the baby arrives depending how all her treatment goes and she is excited bout that. Anyways thought update you all as I have been very slack with not keeping up in mylot at all lately as I have had a lot going on Thanks for reading
