Just thought I had better let you know

I won't be very active over the next week because the kids are off school for a week as it is half term and we are off to the clotted cream county of Cornwall. I am hoping to meet up with some friends, take the kids swimming, go for plenty of walks, probably visit a castle and generally have a good time!! So, please don't worry about my absence my fellow myLotters, as I know you do start to wonder if all is well when I am not seen around myLot frequently. I do hope you all have a good week too and I hope to catch up with you all when I get back!!

Well I know you got back as I've already seen your pictures, but I just thought I'd comment about the clotted cream. I read about it a lot, but what is it really? (crazy American)

My kids are of to Humbug, but they are of for two weeks, starting there second week on Monday. Hope you have a fabulous week with your children

I hope that you and your family have a great vacation! I would love to have me one myself! It would be great to travel and visit an exciting place.. I need a new change in my life! Hi ya cream97 It is my hometown so I know my way around but I always call it a holiday because my kids have never lived there so it is definatley a holiday for them. Thanks for your response

I haven't been to Cornwall in over 35 years. How I wish that I could see it again. So incredibly beautiful. have a wonderful time with the children. I am envious of the clotted cream with warm scones and strawberry jam. Oh, what a delight that was. Remember to turn off your notified buttons or you will be flooded with mail or your return. It would take me forever to turn off my notifications because you have to do them one by one don't you? There is no way of selecting all in myLot which is a pain! I will be at my mum's so I can log on and just delete the emails that I get from mylot it might be easier!! Thanks for the reminder though

Hi humbug25, that is very nice of you tolet us know. As you might have noticed, I have not been much here either. Marking exam scripts plus my four legged friend has kept me rather busy. I hope that you had a good time in Cornwall. I should make Devon and Cornwall on my journey list next summer.

Cornwall is lovely! I have only ever been there once myself, but I really enjoyed it when I was there, and would love to go back. I hope you have a good time there, and I'm sure your children will love it. It sounds like an amazing way to spend half term. I will be spending mine on MyLot making sure I reach payout for this month!

Hi ya GemmaR Yes Cornwall is lovely but I grew up there as a kid and it wasn't really so great. I don't you realise what you have on your doorstep when you are younger but I sure appreciate it now and I love visiting and taking my kids around places that I know well. It was a shame because they were giving free entrance to the Eden Project the week prior to half term for residents of Cornwall but we missed out!! Thanks for your response
