Friends at the same age?!

How old are your best friends? Mine are the same age as me, around 25-30 years. I know people who get better contacts with much younger or older people then themselves. I wonder why? Is it something to do with each persons growth?

My friends vary in age. My best friend is a year or two younger than me, my boyfriend is 6 years older than me and friends range from 14 to 34 right now. I consider the kids in my youth group friends because I do hang out with the girls and we have a lot of fun.
