You are most likely right there. If you have internet you can watch alot of movies on the internet today. Therefore the need for tv is less and less. Although i use both.

I really like the internet a little more as opposed to television. The tv has a lot to offer but I can learn some things I need to know more on line. I am not too interested in many television programs anyway.
I like my son to watch educational programs though. He likes tv but I would rather him do other things if I could get him to.

I tend to agree with you on this one. The internet does have a lot of valuable information and I do find it nice to log on and ask a question. You can't really get that a whole lot with television.
There are things that the computer has to offer that might be for nefarious purposes and I don't engage in that sort of thing. I like to live as honestly as I can and use the online features for more productive things.

id rather choose television than internet, aside from the fact that staying long infront of the pc while surfing the net could cause carpal tunnel disease, its tiring and staying long would strain your back. but if you watch tv, you can always stay as long as you want in whatever position you like.

I have a solution for you. Try moving your couch in front of your computer. The only thing that makes watching t.v more comfortable is that there is a nice comfy seat to sit on.

omg, this is such a hard decision to make, they are both equally as good to me. Because when i watch tv i like watching it with my family and things, and i love the internet because it allows me to talk to friends through messenger, and i can also come on this site and be earning money, and there is alot of reasons why i enjoy the internet.
So, if i HAD to choose one, it would definitely be the internet :)

If I had to give something up, it would definately be the TV. I have 2 computers I can hook up to the Internet at once, and so if my husband needed to watch TV, etc. all he would have to do is tune in to the appropriate web sites and watch from there. I could never imagine being without a Computer and the Internet as for me it is a lot of who I am now these days, and even though the extra income I earn from here is not that much it is still a Big plus for sure.

Without a shadow of doubt I would have to pick the internet first every time. I do not really watch much television. I need to internet to make a big part of my income, plus I can keep up with the latest news on demand, I can also download and watch television programs and films, so in essence I do not need a telly at all :P

To me that is an easy decision. I have a tv, but I hardly ever use it, I always prefer to use the internet instead. There are so many different things that I can do on the internet and I never get bored. I can write emails to me friends, I can read the news, I can participate in discussions, I can look at online art galleries, I can play games, I can search for information and learn something new, I can listen to music etc. Another good thing about the internet is that I can use it whenever I want to, and I don't have to wait for a certain tv programme to start. I feel more independent that way.

If I had to choose TV or Internet I go for an Internet because it offers much more sources than TV does. TV offers only TV broadcasts but doesn't offer an online service which Internet does. If my computer would have a big screen and I could use if from lying on my coach I would forget about my TV forever!

Definitely Internet. I don't watch TV often nowadays. because there is not much fun television to watch for me. I can find everything from the internet. Even television show. Someday, our PC will replace television. Don't you think so?

I am first attracted to the internet because there are so many things that I can do online. I also watch television while I am on the internet so it doesn't bother me to have to pick one over the other. I can use both at the same time and get a bunch of things accomplished.

I would have to choose the internet as well. I can do a lot more on the internet than I can with television. I love to watch movies, it's one of my favorite things to do. I don't watch that many shows other than CSI. Most of the time if I miss the show of CSI then I will go on the internet and watch it, so like you said you can even watch television shows or even movies on the internet if you wish. There is just so much to do on the internet.

yes that's right!! I preferred the internet because what i can watch on TV i can see it on the internet. So no need of buying TV when you have internet. That is for me, We have TV at home we we seldom use it. We are on our computer everyday and we never watch tv on a daily basis. maybe once or twice a month only.

I would most certainly choose the internet over the television anyday of the week. Firstly, I can have a good time on the internet like on this forum and make money from it at the same time.
Secondly, I can watch movies on the internet, so there's no need for the television in my life anymore.
Saying that, I am about to watch Coronation Street now, and I don't think I could live without that!
