I started trying to make money online since October and I have signed up for so many sites I can not keep track lol and of course a lot of those sites have turned out to be scams or impossible to get referrals for because they are already so big eveyone that wants to make money are already there hehe so lately I decided I would chose some of the best of my sites and just work them, like MyLot,Mypage5 and a couple pay per click/read (Banners in my profile :)) so I was wondering when you started out did you do this same thing, sign up for everything that came your way? lol have you decided like I did to just work a hand full of good sites? if so what sites did you decide,do they pay well,do you have to get a mass of active referrals, are they free etc?

I mainly do this, reviews, and surveys now myself. I did not sign up for a lot of sites because I had read on here about some of them so I knew to avoid them. That helped a lot.

It's true that this is a good site to find out about other money sites. I had found so many others before coming here, but now I have a place to turn to see what's true about other sites that promise big bucks and so forth!

Yes, I have signed up for several sites over the years. Once in a while I will come across a new good one, but I would say that is like one out of every 3. I now have a handful of sites that I do everyday because I know they are reliable and they pay. Gather is one of my favorite ones, it is a social networking site, it is a little similiar to mylot. If you would like to join please IM me.

Well actually there are very few I am doing anymore besides myLot. I am only interested in Writing type sites really so lately the main thing I am doing is myLot, AC and some of the many other sites. It just would take too much time to really invest to make so little off a lot of the other sites so unless someone proves there is sites out there that are worth it I don't even take the time to look at them.

I did the same thing when I first started to get interested in online moneymaking. I signed up for a lot a differrent sites, and I never managed to use all of them. In the beginning I wasn't very critical, I just signed up straight away, when I found a new and interesting site. Out of all the sites I joined in the beginning only one site turned out to be genuine and that was Neobux. The rest of them suddenly closed down or stopped paying their members. A few of them had probably been scams right from the start, I just didn't realize it. Now I have found a few sites that are reliable and I usually stick to those sites instead of signing up for new sites.

yeah that is exactly what I did as well lol but I am happy to say the first site I ever signed up for is a great legit site that paid me "Treasure Troopers" so what are the sites you are on now that you stick to?

I think most of us can relate to your story Ruby. We signed up for everything that came our way with false promises and we all did what we were asked. The sad part is that these scammers just close up and open with different names so that many people get sucked back into their scams. I am like you, I only have a couple of sites I visit on a regular basis and try to concentrate my efforts there. Good Luck!

I did the same thing. I too have dropped some of the sites that I joined. I have realized to that they let you make a little money and then all of a sudden it is hard to get anything approved. I wonder if they are scams too. I have never been able to get referrals.

Just join few trusted sites is all i need, nowadays too many scam sites pop out all over cyberspace. promising all sorts of prizes and money, but at time of cash out, they turn into scam, it is hard to wipe them off cyberspace since there is no cyber police patrolling the internet, to put a stop to these online crooks.

I try not to join too many at one time, there are so many scams out there. They pump a site up for about three months until it collapses and you cannot get your pay out of them. The problem is not the time you put in but the lack of payment at the end of all that work.

I'm glad to come across your discussion because I'm looking for earning $$ on the internet but I don't know which one is good and really paid and not a scam. Are those baaners websites really paid you and not scams? Look forward to your reply. Thank you :-)

when i started on line i signed up for anything and everything i could get my hands on. now i belong to about 1000 sites and can't keep track of them all. i only play with about 5 of them. my problems i that i can remember reading in the terms/conditions of a website that after a year of inactivity they start charging you. i can't for the life of me remember this site. i think that it is a mystery shopping site though..if anyone has any ideas let me know! thanks :)

I just did the same thing. I have a list of almost ten sites that I checked to make sure were legit. I have only been making money a few of them though. There is one that I really like and I can message it to you if you'd like. :)
