I noticed that my hair has been falling more than the usual number (whatever is acceptable). and due to cheap hair dye it's been very dry so I keep on in a pony tail even if I'd love to hand it lose sometimes.
I took some aloe vera from its roots in the neighborhood and asked my housemaid to apply it in my hair. I also asked her to buy a coconut from the market and I extracted the milk, put it in the fridge. I plan to apply it in my hair for 30 minutes before I take a bath. I want a shiny hair and I hope this would restore the damage.
How do you take care of your hair? Do you have extra suggestions or product to make it look beautiful. If you have some ritual for the hair please help me.

Hi sheena,
I just use Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner and it keeps my hair shiny and soft, if I had a coconut I would wash my hair with the milk, I'll drink it, yummy. Love and hugs.

I was just about to suggest Tea Tree shampoo/conditioner. That's what I use because I color my hair fairly regularly. It works wonder, and takes care of itcy scalp. And it smells NICE. I love the tingly feelig you get that you just know your hair is clean!
I have also heard that mayo/eggs works well. You can mix them up and set them in your hair like a deep conditioner, leave in for 15 minutes, and wash out. I also get my hair thinned every other visit so as to help promote new growth.
You could also try this remedy, which I discovered by being given the wrong advise, but it worked in my favor. At my second to last hair appointment the girl helping me said to only wash my hair once a week but condition it daily because it was so dry. So, it was three months until my next visit this last month. The girl was shocked at how much natural oil I had. So, she suggested a deep cleanse, then washing every other day with conditioner daily, and once a month deep cleanse. So, to get there you may want to try the first remedy to get your natural oil production going. Then once there you can use the Tea Tree Oil shampoo to maintain. Brushing daily is a good one too because a good boar hair brush will help the oil on the top of your scalp reach the ends of your hair.

15 minutes for a treatment with natural products means nothing.Cooking those eggs or even letting them to rot in the store gives them much more purpose than keeping them on your hair for 15 minutes.Hair treatments with natural products need at least 30-45 minutes, they don't contain any chemicals to help them get into your hair faster, therefore they need more time than a conditioner. And if your hair has a different color than blond, you might find yourself with a very pale and lifeless color.Eggs mix up with honey, and yes, they do miracles sometimes. If you put into it some ermm..palmcrist,castor-oil or how is it called (it's late here...and i don't know all the correct terms in english for plants so pls excuse me if I wrote it wrong :( ) and a vial of vitamin A...well..you sure got yourself a treatment for regenerating your hair faster.I'd still go for chemicals thou..those scientist who invented them didn't study hair structure for nothing. They got a product after years of research and tried to make it work faster than treatments with natural products.Otherwise..we'd still be using grandma's soap,great-grandma's lipstick and grandpa's brilliantine-wax :)

First of all,you shouldn't panic for your hair loss now.It will most probably stop in a few weeks or in a couple of months. It's normal for your hair to fall more than usual in spring and autumn. And it's even more normal for it to fall massively for a period once in a while.Your hair lives for 2-7 years at most. Then it falls, and it takes up to a year for it to regenerate back. So,you won't get balled because of it,'cause it never falls all at a time :)) Instead of stressing out yourself because of this, you should try some vitamins.
About products you use,try a ammonia-free dye. They contain (at least some of them) olive and/or jojoba oil so your hair looks a lot more healthier and shiny.Try cutting your hair once/2 month(by doing so,it will remain healthy at its ends and it won't split so fast)and you only have to cut like 1 cm in extreme cases 2.Try using a hair conditioner for your precise type of hair (very dry). You can also try putting olive oil on it (better if you put it before sleep and leave it there until next morning).Try washing your hair with warm towards cold water instead of hot water(helps with the shining also).
Do you have curls?Curls need even more special care and in that case, please do visit a hairstylist.He/she can point you to the best products for your hair.Ain't a cheap solution many times,but...hair is important for your look. And something tells me that you would suffer more if you had a bad haircut for moths than to pay a few more bucks for a better shampoo or conditioner :P
Oh,my....i rumbled a lot about hair again and I am sure I forgot a lot of things that I wanted to say,but that visit to a hairstylist will surely help. One more thing..if they want to cut your hair shorter than you want, just say no.Hair can get healthy with treatments these days, there is no need for the barbaric old way for repairing damaged hair.
Lots of hugs and good luck :)

Aussie makes a really good deep conditioner- it's called 3 minute miracle I think. You won't need to use it every day. You could also use a hot oil treatment. The absolute worst things you can do right now are use a blow dryer or any hair spray, mousse, gel products- those will dry your hair out even more.
