technology reduces costs its true..but it doesn't reduce the cost of total socio-economical system & thats y,in USA,despite of high & advanced technology, the cost is so....its a balanced regulation i think.
i'm an electrical engineering student so i know how its so.

is the internet service provider restrict the bitorent port forwarding? My ISP Restricted the bitorrent. Is this could be difference of coasts. And as you say you can complain and next day is free of coast. Then your rent should be definately high

It is way too expensive for internet owner in USA, even though here technology is advance and one can get super high speed connection, it is not free or cheap. In USA, capitalism is all about making huge profit by ISP, to be greedy is good in every CEO book. So $10 a month internet connection is not available, even the cheapest is around 30 bucks, welcome to very greedy USA corporate world. I can imagine $10 a month internet connection is going to happen only another 100 years here. LOL!!

China catogarised its products in three catogaries. IST 2ND AND 3RD CALSS. First class products are exported only to develop countries like US. While other products are sent according to economy of the country.
China is more advance than japan now days
even a company like nokia is also giving projects of its accesories in china

In Sweden I paid about $50 for 100/100. Speeds you don't even get close to in the US. I now pay about the same for a 16/2 connection in the US. I almost want to move home solemnly because of the ridiculously slow speeds. Also 3G is so underdeveloped. I was very surprised, I always thought the US was superior to Europe when it came to technology ._.

yah..the US is still superior to Europe in technology & its coz their people has the capability of bearing the cost i think & their people r mostly dependent on it so,despite of this rate, they use it.
&....................hey Arvaster,,
I heard in ur country, very soon tuition fees for higher education for foreign students will b available....is it true really?

In India, for unlimited access with a speed of 256kbps, we need to pay $18.00.I did not expect, the cost will be that much in USA. In Bangaldesh is reasonable only, but i don't understand 15 download speed. I think you are mentioning a speed of 16KB/sec, and for the limited connectivity, we need to pay about $0.01/Mb download. This is too expensive and most of us prefer only the unlimited download connectivity.
