I responded to one of my friends' discussion about Friday the 13th. Coincidentally, I landed on the 13th spot of her discussion. I said and I say again for the nth time that 13 or 13th never gave my a bad experience, so far as I can recall. I don't believe in it, I guess. Well anyway, let us all be careful. It doesn't make much difference to me whether its just a 13th or a Friday with a 13th.It may not happen often .It all dependds upon how you take things on that particular day.

Hi TnWoman! I didn't know that there was going to be another Friday the 13th in March! I usually don't think much of it, but this past one was not too good for me! My boyfriend and I were fighting! I don't usually think of Friday the 13th as being unlucky, I usually think of it as being more on the lucky side since most other days are not so lucky for me! I don't really make much of having another one in March! I guess I'll see how this one turns out!

emm... i haven't really look at the calendar that far yet... so i didn't realise that we have another friday the 13th next month as well... good on you for pointing it out... i didn't really care so much about the date as i treat every single date and day the same in my eyes... i'm not a superstitious person and i belive in God more than dates and days... take care and have a nice day...

If a month starts with a Sunday, 13 days ahead will fall on a Fridday. The month of February has exactly 28 days in it, and 28 days is equal to 4 weeks. If the first day of the 28, and the first week of the 4 starts on a Sunday, the first day of the 29th day will also be a Sunday, and 13 days ahead will be a Friday of the next month, just as they were in the previous month.

That's unusual and its nice that you have spotted that but i am not that superstitious. There are some people who are quite superstitious and keeps on believing that something unusual will happen on this kind of dates. Friday the 13th is something that everyone have heard and having 13 as friday for two consecutive months will not encounter often. Guess you are a good observer of such things, anyway good luck and happy earnings.

Hey there TnWoamn Well yes I did know that there was a Friday the 13th in both February and March and I am 99% sure it has happened before. It really makes no difference to me and I am not bothered by it. My mum's 60th birthday is on Friday the 13th March this year and it sure to be a great day that I am looking forward to very much!

Okay now that sucks. I was worried enough when I noticed that the 13 fell on a friday this month, now I have to go through it all again next month? Wow. I hate friday the 13th there is nothing good about that day, it's like everyone uses the date as an excuse to be naughty and mean. I hope that next month passes by as uneventful as this one. I know that some people say that it's all in your head, but I don't think that at all, besides I have no control over how other people act and most of the time when something goes wrong for me on that date, it's caused by someone I have no control ove. I just hate the 13th.

February and March days fall the same so I am sure it has happened before. I don't think anything of a friday the 13th its no different than any other day of the week.

Friday the 13th have traditionally been good days for me. I am not a very superstitious person. The Friday the 13th in February was the first of three this year. There is one March, as you mentioned, and another in November. It is interesting that some hospitals skip the room 13. Even tall buildings often skip the 13th floor. The next time you're in an elevator of an older tall building, look and see if there's a floor 13. I've noticed a lot of hotels leave it out. Very interesting...

Its a good thing I dont believe in that stuff as i fly out to California on march 13th. I just treat it like any other day.

Yeah, you're right Rhonda. I didn't realize it until you said so and I checked the calendar. It so happened that besides February and March, November is also another month where there is Friday the 13th. I guess the February and March coincidence is due to February having 28 days only. I don't find anything ominous or scary about Friday the 13th. To me it is just another date, but if anyone is scared about bad luck befalling on that date, that scare probably stemmed from superstition that started in the early ages.

wow. but iam not afraid of friday the 13th. i had my beautiful daughter, oldest one on friday 13th in august of '65. and the labor wasnt hard and shes one of my smartest most accomplished

This month's friday the 13th was a great day for me. So, I hope that next month I will have a great friday the 13th, too. The funny thing is that this year I did not even realize that it was Friday the 13th until the end of the day, when my husband commented on it.

Its because the month of February is only until 28th. Well anyway we don't have to be superstitious on that day. Don't worry nothing bad is going to happen as long as you have trusted your life to God. I don't mind that day if they say bad luck, not good for business, not good to set up a date, or not good for paying your debt. I wonder why people get so superstitious on Friday the 13th, is it the movie? what is the real origin of that story? well anyway, it does not make sense at all since i won't get myself affected with that day.
