I have a simple dual core pc that does not really do too many things. I am quite happy with the startup and shutdown. Cheers!!

Thanks for the information. Reminds me of a program called "BootVis", which can trace and performance and then optimize start/close times of your pc...

OK I admit it. I'm computer illiterate! How do I know if my computer is 32 bit or 64 bit? I've been having this problem and would love to be able to resolve it.

Thanks for your sharing.
This is a good alternation.
Sometimes I will turn off some system services not in use.
This will do as well. ^_^

Do you know how to manually edit the startup processes? I'm using uniblue registry booster to clean my registry, moreover I have bit defender which also can fix my registry programs. What I want to know is how to edit my startup item for more boost. LOL
