I used to be obsessed with Take That when I was a teenager. I used go to their hotel with my friends and we met them outside so many times. I remember sitting outside with Robbie Williams as he chatted to all his fans. Was you a big fan of a certain band when you was a teenager? Did you ever try and meet them? or go see them in concert?

My fave was Bon Jovi. The lead singer Jon Bon Jovi was and still is very sexy. I still listen to his old music as well as his new stuff, HE ROCKS!

I like some of Bon Jovi's music. They still play his songs at a club I used to go to.

I still love my favorite band back when I was 16. I have never met them face to face, but I did end up meeting one of the band membors ex brother in law and he would have the band over and then they'd prank call me or I'd get to talk to them on webcam and on the phone. It was great!
I also used to follow a band around my state. They were really good and the guys were super sweet. They are no longer all together in the same band, they broke off. They aren't exactly famous, but they are well known in my state and surrounding states.

Oh I forgot!-
I did meet John Sebastian from Lovin' Spoonful last year twice. He's a really good guy! He autographed mine and my hubbys shirts and other things.
I loved Lovin Spoonful while I was in highschool (which was only 4 yrs ago) and its one of my husbands favorite bands.
I've met a few bands, but not my favorite bands...

Mine was Creedence Clearwater Revival when I was a young teenager. Back then, I didn't really go to any concerts and it wasn't long after a friend of mine introduced me to Emerson, Lake & Palmer. When They were popular in the 70s, I didn't get to see them in concert. Then they appeared to break up but then a few years later they came out with the "works" lp. A concert tour followed and I did get to see them and saw them in concert every time they came until they broke up for good in 97.

Haha, I'm almost still a teenager, but 10 years ago or so I was OBSESSED with the Spice Girls. I had every Spice Girl magazine, stickers, all those collectors photos etc. I had fantasies and fan fics about them haha. I was so obsessed it's insane :)
Nowadays I can't stand their music, but they are indeed fond memories n_n

I was a VERY big fan of The Used. I was about 14 or 15 when I was first introduced to their music. I lost interest fast after they replaced their drummer. I want to start a rock band myself someday and I absolutely HATE it when good bands break up or start replacing memebers.

It was in the late 60s and early 70s that I was a teenager still in school. I used to listen to a lot of music then, and there were great groups like the Beatles, Chicago, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Jackson 5, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stone, amongst others. Of course, I have not met them face to face or in live concerts because they were on the other side of the world and there were hardly live concerts then. My favorite band among them was Credence Clearwater Revival. I still remember their famous hit songs like Proud Mary, Down in the Corner, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Bad Moon Rising and Hey Tonight, and I still listen to them today.

Well I'm still a teenager being only eightteen but some of my favorite bands throughout my teen years so far have been Green Day, NOFX, Rancid, and Alkaline Trio when I was just getting into high school. Then like None More Black and Lars Frederiksen. Now I'm much more into a different style of music and some of the biggest bands in my musical forte now are Tool and The Deftones.

I was also a big fun of Robbie William but I wasn't obsessed with any of bands or singers to think of following to them. I also didn't have much chances as I live in Latvia and no way such bands were coming here in those years. Now it's different.
I think my favorite band when I was a teenager was our Latvian local band Prata Vetra or in English version Brainstorm. As a teenager I enjoyed their love lyrics and cheerful pop. I also got to see them at concerts.

My favorite band as a teen was Cinderella. I loved them!! I never got to see them in concert but I'm hoping that I can catch them sometime when the lead singers vocals heal and they start touring again. What memories that will bring back!! Now if we go back just a few years younger when I was 9 or 10 I was totally and completely obsessed with Duran Duran. I loved Simon!!! I used to beg my mom for quarters at the grocery store because they had a sticker vending machine that had Duran Duran in it.

My favorite band when I was a teenager was the group Poison. I had a big crush on Brett Michaels back then. I still like their music I love the song Fallen Angel. I don't really care for Brett Michaels all that much anymore though after watching Rock of Love.

Oh, yes! What memories this brings back. The Surprise Package! They were great! My girlfriend and I went out ever Saturday to see them. They had quite a following for several years. Once years later I found the top one of us had worn one night and had them sign. I guess my girlfriend had finally gotten rid of it.

my favorite band when i was a teenager was Nirvana. It was something new, and original. it was nice to have someone that wasn't a cliche 80's hairband with the ugly animal print tight pants, long hair, and clown makeup, with the really cheesy guitar ballads. Nirvana killed the hair bands, like st. patrick chasing off the snakes. It was a new better era of music.

my favourite band was Animal X but i loved Voltaj too. Now i love a lot Voltaj. They are so great. Thouse from Animal X had some great songs, and now they are trying something like soft rock, after so much time of wonderful songs. They had too a dance that was something like breakdance. Voltaj always had songs about teenages, about the life of a teenager, about love, and so on. They are now, i think the most wanted band at any concert. All the romanian people love them a lot, even the old ladies like them a lot.

It was (and still is) Hanson. I went to see them at a concert when I was 9 or 10 and had no idea who they were. By the end of the concert I loved them and have ever since. I lost track of them for a bit when they had to make their own label but got back on when I saw them at a concert this past summer. i am now a member of their fan club and I am going to a member only concert this coming May that just brightened up my whole world (I just found out today). I am a complete music lover and now that I can travel by myself I intend to go to many concerts. I just turned 21, so hotels will no longer be the issue!

My favorite band was Sheila on 7. It is an Indonesian band. I think their songs are legendary to the teenagers. I remembered during my high school I have a ocllection of their albums. However, nowadays, the band is less productive in making songs. It is probably because majority of the members are married and become committed to their family life.
