It's been 9 days away from my expected due date, I am really looking forward to see my baby. I have prepared everything, and now I just wait for my contraction or any signs of giving birth to come. These few days, I feel my stomach being quite painful, I feel like baby wants to come out now, but it's not really contraction. I am quite excited now, and hopefully I know when the real contraction comes.
My parents have just come to my house from my hometown yesterday. My mum is here to take care of me and my baby after I give birth, so I do not need to worry about how to take care of my baby, as I will learn from my mum soon. I just can't wait to see my baby.

Congratulations! A new baby can be very stressful so I am glad that you have your mum to come and help you out. It sounds as if you are very excited. That is a good thing. Babies are wonderful and you will feel amazing after you hold it in your arms for the first time. It is well worth all of the waiting!!

Oh congratulations my friend for the upcoming baby.. A lot of women say that the feeling of birthing is so rewarding and fulfilling. I have a friend who described her being a new mom is just like winning a Miss Universe. I cant wait for that day to come though it may take time for me. I so envy you because soon you will have a lil angel held in your arms. GodBless and hope you will have an easy delivery and a healthy baby for that matter.

That's very exciting for you. You'll know when the contractions come. It feels like someone gave you a swift kick in the stomache. It actually takes your breath away a little. The most important thing is to try and remain calm so that you don't tense up too much. Just go with it. I'm sure your mom will be a big help for you. Good luck and let us know how things went.

Your post has brought back so many memories of how I felt before the birth of my first son. I was excited but also scared and I was in a strange country too. I was also worried as I had had a terrible pregnancy and her were concerns over my baby's health.
When they put your baby into your arms you will know the meaning of love in a whole different way. May God bless you and take care of you.

Is this your first child? I know how excited you can be being an expectant mother. I am so happy to hear that you are expecting soon. Hope your will have a safe and healthy delivery. I wish you well and the baby good health. I heard that usually it is 2 weeks delayed or early when you give birth to your 1st child. I think this is what happens with you. I wish you well.

Hi there, thanks for your response.
Yeah, it's my first baby, and it's a baby boy. My husband and I have decided the name for the baby once we knew the gender. Yeah, I'll definitely share my joy with other mylotters after my baby is born, I think I'll be really excited to share with the whole world.

Nearly time how exciting. When I had my last baby my daughter was still living at home and she watched me.So when she had her children she was up to speed with what to expect and how to deal with it.All her friends having babies about the same time wondered how on earth she knew what to do and when she explained about watching and helping me with her baby brother, they asked her, what the best way of doing things was,so many mothers don't help their daughters or give them a rest.I always used to take the baby for the odd weekend,or sit while she went to the gym or out with friends.I loved doing it and it made me feel useful, passing on my knowledge gave me a great deal of pleasure.Your mum sounds wonderful and willing to help so let her.If you have had your braxton hicks contractions you won't be long let us know how you get on,happy times, suzzy3x

Wow that must be a very exciting days for you and your family. A new member of the family is about to be born. Well by now I supposed your sleep maybe a little uncomfortable already. My wife would just have hard time sleeping and finding a comfortable position during that time.

Hey kaka135, congratulations! Welcome to the motherhood club! Good for you, it's just a few days away. I remember when I gave birth, I wasn't in labor at all, no pain, no contractions. The baby was even overdue and came out after 41 weeks. Nevertheless, he's very healthy and handsome
Your parents will indeed give you all the advice and knowledge that you need, but you should also know that motherhood comes from within as well. You'll feel it, you'll know what's the best for your baby as he is a part of you, he is your life.
Congratulations again, I'm so happy for you. Big hugs to you...

Congratulations. Finally you get to the point of a significant turn in the life, for you and for your family. It is good that your own mother is with you to help.
Take care and have a good production.
Mother's breeding is good for the baby, so do your best to keep at ease and happy. Take things positively to avoid anxiety or hot temper. After the first weak days, to nourishing soups to help good breeding. In my experience, hai dai soup of pork effective. and also jiu niang soup with eggs. These are easily found in china and korea.
