I exercise everyday, seven days a week. I used to be overweight and so out of condition, now my day isn't complete when I don't exercise. Now I have been feeling such a great improvement in my health. I also find that exercising makes a person happy because I used to be depressed all the time. Now, I really think I am a better person because of exercise and proper nutrition.
How many times do you exercise in a week? What benefits have you gotten from exercising? Thanks in advance for your replies! ^__^

Good for you! jaymeeliz! I am not doing as I desire to. I would love to exercise like I want to. But, where I am living at it makes it very hard for me to exercise. I love walking, but just can't seem to find the time to do so. I need my own car so that I can go walking like I want to. I do agree, under my stress exercising would really do me some good! Take care!
I do stay moving around a whole lot.. I do plan to start my regimen very soon. I have already started but just have not kept it up.. But, when that time comes, I will. I love walking and taking care of my body!

I'm a bit like you cream...I enjoy walking and I start to make a routine and it is always interrupted by something else. Even when I try to walk a little every day just to begin and work up to a proper fitness exercise, something always happens. I'm overweight and it is vital for me to do something in the way of exercise to ensure the health of my heart if nothing else.

I used to exercise on a regular basis. I was so afraid to gain a lot of weight and get sick. But when I became a mom, I seldom do the exercises. Because I don't have enough sleep. Because of my kids.

Good for you to be able to exercise and improve your body condition.I was very desperate to lose my weight too.I have not found the right exercise for me.I'm afraid to try again because of what I experienced the last time I followed cd exercise. It cost me a lot when my heart started to beat abnormally.

I exercise six times a week, running three and cross train three. I rest on Sunday and start it all up on Monday again. It has not been easy to keep up on all the time but I need to do the right thing for me and my family. Id like to be there for my kids when they get older.

Oh, this question is too difficult to answer for me, sometimes or never? I don't know, maybe every one week or one month or never! Yean, I have a plan to do exercise everyday more than 1 hour, but I always lost this plan, though I remember this scheme, I also look for more and more reasons to persuade myself into giving up it. So, day after day, this plan still exists, the different is just it has been looked for more than one time!

Maybe you should start small like 20 minutes a day. Soon you'll feel like increasing it! I hope you put your plans to action because exercise is really good for you! God bless you!

Between my job where I basically run my butt off and at home the stuff I do afterwork, and since our weather is nasty I get a load of work out everyday. I make sure that I do short spurts of strenuous stuff like speed cleaning and a lot of reaching and stretching. Oh and since I lugg in the firewood for my wood burning stove I notice my stomach is getting into shape. So my workout is my usual routines. I am just too exhausted to do anything else LOL

I went back to exercising just this week so I had two days of exercise and I am planning to have it 5 times a week that is every weekdays. For nor I am doing aero dancing but I am planning to enroll into taebo or a gym workout. I am planning to having it alternately. Though it maybe hard at the start but I know when I get the habit of it this will be in a breeze. That is true that exercising is good for the health and my disposition in life.

Hey there! That's good. I exercise or workout everyday. I lift weights, do push-ups, sit-ups, etc., etc.. Yeah it feels great to the body when you exercise. You don't get tired quickly and you're in a great condition. You feel confident about your self, on how you look and how people would think about you. I also play badminton, I enjoy it a lot. I play it once a week every Saturday. have a nice day.

My little sister was complaining about how big her tummy was a few weeks back, so my mom, my sister and I all agreed to do afternoon runs before we study for school. Said sister's only eleven years old, but she's the one person who really got me into running. I think I'd been depressed for quite sometime, and exercising is my way of bouncing back up again. I ran thursday afternoon and just this morning with my mom. I like that running keeps my mind occupied 'cause it's idle most of the time, and right now I'm starting to enjoy sweating. I used to hate sports 'cause it makes me feel icky after, but right now I feel a turnaround coming on in my head.

Hello jaymeeliz I also do exercise regularly. Mainly I am doing exercise by way of walking. In the morning and evening I regularly walking about 3 to 4 kms. Frankly speaking I got better results. My regular habit is that after taking dinner I walk about half an hour. I am fit and feel fresh.

Normally I do two or so hours of working out a day. 45min cardio video with MMA in it, 20-30mins of running, and 30mins on a row machine. Mon, Weds, Fri I do an AB exercise for 20mins. Then I strength train the rest of the time. Building up my tendons in my arms. I do all that Mon-Sat and then on Sunday my husband and I go to armwrestling pratice for several hours.
Actually, it is recommended to get at least 15mins of exercise a day. It releases endorphins (I'm not sure if thats how its spelled) in your body after a cardio workout of ten mins. They say make sure that you at least work out several mins after the ten to get all the endorphins moving in your body. Endorphins make you happy. So, yes working out does make you happy. It also heals the body.
My mom jogs 13miles a day. NEVER missing a day and she hasn't for 30+ years. She even ran up until the days she had me and my 3 brothers. She is dedicated. She says that even when she has a horrible headache, after about 20mins she feels completely better. This woman has never taken medication or been sick more than a handful of times that I've been alive and before that.
I've eaten healthy for years, so everything combined, I guess yes I am feeling alot better than I did before I started working out. I would say I'm happier and sleeping better. My husband has a physical job so he hasn't been working out all that much other than strength training and practice on sundays, but for the last month he's been going to a gym and working out for 2hours after work and I can tell he's in a better mood when he comes home.
So remember 15mins of a cardio exercise is good and should be a *must* for everyone everyday!

I walk at least 2 to 3 miles a day, and I don't feel the need to do any additional exercise. My kids don't like walking for long distances and they ask me how am I able to do.
When I was a child, my MoM didn't have a car, and we used to walk every other day. We'd walk especially on Sundays to church, every single day. So, I grew up walking everywhere. Hence the reason I am able to walk such long distances without complaining. Plus you get to see alot of scenery depending on where you are walking, which for me now is primarily at work.
