how many of you know durian? / myLot

That's my favourite food no matter what they say about the smell. It only stinks if it's in an enclosed place. You dont know what you are missing if you dont try that.

i can't stand the smell of that fruit. no wonder it's forbidden in may international airports. i used to like it, but once i ate too much of it and after that i can't stand the smell. strange.

wow, durian!!!!!!!! That's my favorite fruit, so delicious taste and smell...yummi. Durian, its name from word duri (malay word), it's mean thorn so meaning thorny fruit, tropical fruit. many people dislike durian because it so smell and not good looking. How ever I like this fruit very much.

Yes i know durian, it is a very smelly kind of fruit. But many who tried them say that it taste very nice but you'll just have to put up with the smell of it.

Sorry, Durian is one of the fruits I hate the most. I cannot tolerate the smell of it. Once in my office, they left this fruit overnight and the next day I cannot work. I cannot even eat Durian flavoured chocolates. Sorry about that, but thats my view.

I have never heard of it before. I originally was drawn to this discussion because I thought it said "duran" as in "Duran Duran". LOL. de rien is also how you say "you're welcome" in French. What is the origin of durian?

I have read about it that it is the fruit of trees of the genus Durio. But I have never seen it. Its not available at my place so don't know its taste.

Yeah we have durian here in the Philippines mostly in Davao I've seen the durian but I cannot bear the smell. I prefer if it is made into a candy. Much better.

yes, i know it. we have durian here in the philippines. ive tasted it, and although it tastes good, i cant seem to get past the smell.;p. even the durian candies are smelly.

It's popular here in the philippines and other asian countries. Most of the people doesnt wat the smell until they tasted it. Its really good and i too like it.
