Half an hour ago, I was on my way home on a bus. I did an idiot thing which I would never mean to. Two women got on the bus and one came to sit next to me by the window, the other took a seat on the front seat which is two rows of seats apart. Since they got on, not only I but the rest four people ( including me, two in front of me and one in front of the two in front of me.) were suffering a lot becasue these two women kept talking loudly and talking stupidly all the way! They talked everything like how poor their wages were, one of them had her hair cut and what exactly her mother said, things like that, all those trivial stupid private things. They didn't show the sign to stop though I did glare at her occasionally. Ny ears were raped this way! For such poorly-educated women, it's no use persuding them to talk down or shut up. So I took out my cellphone and began to play my favourite music very quitely hoping to escape from their idiot voice and conversation.
My lord, I know playing music in public is very bad, see, I couldn't think of a better methord to cope with these two women. If you were in my position, what would you do? I expect your shares.

you have a good idea there. I did think of changing the seat, but if i changed, i had to sit next to the door. Today is bitterly cold and it snowed heavily. Besides, I was reading my book on the bus, it's part of my habit, unlike those women who only killed time by gossiping and talking nonsense. They admitted killing the time all the time.
Thank you for your advice, yours is very practicle.

I take the bus everyday and put up with all kinds of people talking loud , music, talking on there cell phones.
I try to block out the noise by reading by book which sometimes is really hard to do.
I'm like you I shoot dirty looks every so often hoping they shut up.
