When I click on internet explorer...it takes about 5 to 10 seconds for it to open. It just recently started doin this. Is there a fix?
Also, in Outlook Express recently, it has gotten to where when I click on a link in an email, outlook freezes up on me. Does anyone know why?
All this just started happening in the last week or two.

Mine is taking more time than yours some times it will take 1 or 2 minutes to get loaded. If we fail to install the security update of IE, it may happen.Go to
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5, and follow the instructions. If yours windows package is lisenced one there will be any problem while updating the above. It is not like mine, then you may get the " You might be the vitim of software counterfeit" message. Take care.

Just an update on this subject...
I researched over and over on how to fix this problem.
I finally read that it all had to do with the add ons that internet explorer uses each time I open it and use it.
I followed the instructions on how to disable them....my computer is faster now....

Why use Internet Explorer? Have you tried Mozilla Firefix? It's good and I like it better than Internet Explorer.
Have you ran a spyware scan? Download Malwarebytes to scan your computer for harmful files that may slow your computer down.

I would advise firefox. As i see it over IE is bound to get you in to problems.Though clearing the temp data and cookies might help, what i see from MS is they bug you to take their updates and if you dont care, the software would also say I DONT CARE..
ya thats true. go for firefox or chrome.
they are quite good afterall they dont belong to MS.
but mind even chrome is not too fast but it is sincere and it does the same work all the while.
You may need to scan your sys fr virus or such notorious things.
