The ROCK of the early days and the "rock" of today

Do you guys ever taught that rock today isn't the same anymore? I mean it's so different as if everyone is posing and trying to be a rockstar. you don't try to be a rockstar! you live your life and be recognized as a rockstar.
I miss Billy Idol, ACDC , Queen Freddie mercury!!
it's all different don't you think? there's no passion or originality no more. rock isn't ROCK no more. it's just rock...a plain stone that can't do anything.

Yep, everything changes espescially music. It's the same with every genre. I love heavy metal Ozzy Osbourne will always be a legend, but now you have the likes of people like Marilyn Manson who I hate. I prefer Christian heavy metal compared with today's metal because it is filled with hate and swearing. It's the sign of the times and as society changes so does its music. It is the same with television shows and everything changes really. What was once in a science fiction movie is now made real. Today I heard they have created these robots that are supposed to develop like children. That has been on a few films.

changing that depends on society. Never thought of it that way.
Looks like our society is getting suckier and suckier the more we progress.

and yeah I also agree that "metal" today lost it's essence...
